I am very very disappointed and very angry at the staff in McDonald's MALL OF AFRICA, I was asking about my Caramel Iced coffee which I've never experienced before, I had asked to take out a little of ice but my coffee came back half, so I said how come this is the case as I've never experienced this before, they said because Iced coffee is made of ice, that I fully understand and it's OBVIOUS what iced coffee is made of, I said I need someone to explain to me how is it now made as I always buy iced coffee from mcdeez but never experienced where if all the ice was taken out I would get about quarter cup of my coffee. There was some rude short lady with glasses on, you can see she condones or entertains the bad attitude with some of the staff as well I'm not sure if she was the supervisor or one of the general staff, she grabbed my iced coffee from the cashier so hard it even fell on her but never spilled, if you watch the camera you will even see how this lady was carrying on, she takes it to cafe side to show me how it's made, so I just said ok put more ice because now this is ridiculous that I walk away with half a cup, she pushes it into the other staffs hands to put more ice and she is mumbling insults under her breathe as she walks away. There was so much ice I couldn't even put in my straw, so now we pay for watered down iced coffee. The worst of it all, when I get to the car I taste my coffee and it's absolutely bitter, not even a hint of caramel in it, now it makes me think, did they do this purposely, this was the WORST service I received from these ladies, I got home shaking mad. I will never return there, they should get lessons from the other staff in McDonald's franchise such as Midrand and Waterfall, it's so peaceful and they talk to you and explain to you anything you want to know in a respectful manner.. If it were possible, I would rate this McDonald's a -1.
We got here by 9:30 pm and were already being told by the manager that the restaurant is closing by 10 pm (with an attitude for that matter). We were already not feeling comfortable.
We ordered two tripple cheese burger meals, a Mcfizz, a cappuccino, small chips and also redeemed a Mcfeast spicy.
We waited for the food and it was only served at 9:55 pm after making follow ups since we did not want to eat in a rush to met the 10 pm deadline. The odd thing is that the restaurant was not busy but the food took long. I also got my Mcfeast spicy. Now it was the second time redeeming a Mcfeast spicy in this restaurant.
About two weeks ago I redeemed one and it looked stale, as though it had been sitting in the restaurant for some time or returned by someone. Well, I thought maybe it was a mistake, a once off.
Today I had a similar experience, the Mcfeast spicy was stale and had a cracked bun that was not fresh. The patties were also dry and hard just like before. The tomato had funny taste as though it was starting to go off.
This is not only unacceptable but disgusting as stale food could pose a health hazard to clients. Mcdonalds SA should take corrective messures to address this mediocrity. I would advice propective clients not to redeem their meals from...

Manager - Counter cashier lady in corporate uniform standing next to the wall in the pic - you really need to address your customers with more respect and be more professional when addressing complaints, not every customer wants free food if this is what you think of us.
