Nando's Hatfield — Restaurant in Gauteng

I had put through my order at 10:33am on the Nando’s app because I had a meeting I had to attend at 11:10am and the app said it should only take 10 minutes to be able to pick up my food. However the app failed to mention that the restaurant that was chosen only opened at 11:00am. There was NO warning what’s so ever, not even listing the restaurant operating hours. I only found this out when I arrived at the restaurant at 10:40am and it was closed. I was also told I was not allowed to wait in the restaurant until 11:00am so I had to go sit in the neighbouring McDonalds until 11:00am. At which point I was considering leaving my order and just having McDonalds. I only received my food at 11:14 am. This was a very frustrating and AVOIDABLE error. I wasted a lot of time waiting for my food and missed some of my meeting.

EDIT: I had them at 2 stars because this should be a unique issue. But when I went to open my food, I had found NO cutlery even though I had indicated I needed cutlery. Now I have to eat my spinach with my hands, in the middle...

Today, absolutely terrible service. I do believe the lady who was supposed to serve me is racist. Unfortunately I have to go to this store for orders as I am a delivery driver. First I was ignored as per usual, when my packet was given to me... Still not greeted, I took it and left. I am supposed to check my order which I normally do, she did not give me the mineral to go with the order. I came back to fetch it but will not do so again. I will tell customers to rather order from Barchello's or the new chic place in Hatfield. Drivers need to be communicated with like any customer does. As large as Nando's is, one cannot afford to lose customers! Please do not become complacent to service issues as it eventually destroys a business and all the staff will be...

The meal was nicely prepared. However the staff were absent throughout the course of the meal. No one checked up on us, no one cleaned up the table. As we were eating, the bottle of juice given to me was licking but no one bothered to wipe the floor and instead of giving me another bottle of juice, they simply poured the remains into a jar.They were all just having their own private discussions during working hours. That was quite disappointing and unprofessional. On the positive side of things however, the food was delicious, the restaurant was clean and its located in a convenient area in Hatfield, can be easily accessed by people passing by and students.
