I made a telephone order to save time; the order was noted without much misunderstanding. I arrived at the venue in time to collect the order. I paid for the order assisted by an elderly lady and waited aside assuming the order was not ready (after the said 20min by the lady who took my order). After close to 10min of waiting, I was eventually assisted by the younger lady taking orders; the box was already on the rack all the time. I happened to check the order (because I've experienced it numerous times at various Romans Pizzas where I was given the wrong order) and the order was not correct - the order was just two large pizzas. The lady was not apologetic but thanked me for checking. I waited another 15min for my order and received the right order. She thanked me once again for waiting for my correct order. As a person serving the customer, quality customer service is key for brand image and customer retainability. What sets franchise branches apart from each other is eventually their service because the product is about 100% the same. No apology, no make-up for the time lost, not checking / confirming orders with the customer, not being friendly, etc. all add to a poor service to and experience for the customer. A totally great / exceptional experience from a Romans Pizza branch is yet to be experienced by the customer...

I usually enjoy Romans Pizza, but my experience at the North Riding branch yesterday was disappointing. I didn’t have time to cook, so I decided to try a healthier option and ordered the chicken strips. When I opened the packet, I was shocked—I honestly thought they had given me the wrong order. What I received looked nothing like chicken strips.
For R39.90, I got three tiny pieces of chicken soaked in oil. It was unappetizing and definitely not worth the price. I understand that Romans Pizza isn’t exactly known for healthy meals, but this was just a rip-off. Charging R40 for three greasy pieces of chicken is unacceptable.
As consumers, we shouldn’t accept this kind of poor quality and bad value for money. I won’t be ordering this again, and I hope the franchise takes feedback like...
Read moreThe staff are very friendly and always help full, I previously would have rated this store 5 out of 5 but due to management which changed the original peperoni slices to something like a russian slice coated with chilli like seasoning I was greatly upset and refuse to every buy from this branch again.
The pepperoni pizza before it was changed was one of my most favorite pizzas to buy at Roman's Northriding but after change of the proper pepperoni meat to something else the same pizza just tastes barely edible.
I strongly advice the branch manager to fix their mistake before more clients are pushed away, other than that the staff of the store are very pleasant and friendly. (Note I did order a pepperoni pizza from the Fourways Romans and it did still have the original good tasting pepperoni slices which is...
