To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to express my extreme frustration with the service I received from your restaurant today. I placed an order for chicken curry at 5:25 PM, and the delivery was not received until 8:00 PM—nearly two and a half hours later! This is absolutely unacceptable.
The food itself was a complete disappointment. I could not even eat it. The curry was bland and unrecognizable, more like a stew than anything remotely close to a curry. To make matters worse, the portion size was shockingly small for R150. This is by far the worst meal and service I have ever experienced.
I would like to make it clear that the issue lies with your restaurant, not the Uber driver. I contacted the driver, and he confirmed that he was still waiting for your restaurant to prepare the order. I then attempted to contact the restuarant 5 times and it went to voicemail. Two and a half hours to prepare this garbage is inexcusable.
I will never order from your establishment again, and I highly recommend you reconsider your operations entirely. The service and food were both abysmal, and I feel completely cheated.
Consider this my last interaction with your restaurant. I hope you take this feedback seriously. And please, to save yourselves the pain DO NOT ORDER...
Read moreI recently visited the Royal Punjab curry place on Beyers Naudé Drive in Cresta, and it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance made me feel right at home. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my visit was enjoyable.
The menu offered a fantastic selection of traditional Indian dishes, with a variety of curries to choose from. I opted for the chicken tikka masala, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the spices were perfectly balanced. The naan bread was fresh and soft, complementing the curry wonderfully.
One thing that stood out to me was the generous portion sizes. I definitely felt like I got great value for my money. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the service.
Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience at Royal Punjab. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or looking to try something new, this is a great spot to visit. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning to explore more...
Read moreWe went there yesterday for my wife's birthday. We ordered a full tandoor chicken. The waiter explained that the side dish is chips. However, we asked if they would replace the chips with a side salad. At first he said it's not possible, as the "system" won't allow it. Eventually, he agreed. What we got though was nothing like a salad. They gave us a small bowl of sambal. When we questioned it, the Indian waiter became quite rude and aggressive, pulled out the menu and showed us what the menu says about salad. We're not used to restaurants being so inflexible. We've also never experienced such aggressive behaviour in any restaurant before. It was only our second time there, but unfortunately our last. Shocking service and attitude. It's a pity though as the food is...
