This was my first visit to this establishment and it was a bit confusing (if you’re not familiar with the area). Do not use the hotel entrance. Instead, head to the parking garage and take the elevator to the 6th floor. When you step off the elevator, make a left, and walk beyond the luxury stores. You will then make another left, after the art gallery. Okay, so once you’re at the main restaurant entrance, you’ll be greeted by security for a temperature check and instructed to sanitize. Make a left, and you will see a bar to your right and an open galley to your left. You will then approach ANOTHER security station and AGAIN asked to sanitize. I was more interested in dining on the party deck side but was told it was full and cannot be accommodated 🙃. Alternatively, I was seated on the dining deck side. It was basically separated from the lounge by a low metal fence so I was still able to enjoy the music. My waitress for the evening was Notholee. She was courteous and efficient. She was nice enough to snap a few photos of me since I was solo dining and she checked back in me often enough, which is always a sign of good service.
Ambience: despite being on the non-party/lounge side, I was still impressed. The fire pits were a nice touch and the view is beautiful.
Food: Grilled Prawns for an appetizer (meh!), a bottle of sparkling Rosé (🙌🏾), Rib Eye Steak and Mash (👎🏾absolutely did not enjoy and actually didn’t eat. The beef was hard but rubbery all at the same time AND cooked at the wrong temperature. Definitely wouldn’t recommend). I ordered the Cajun Pasta and asked for chicken to be added to replace the mediocre steak. Surprisingly, when my bill came, the rib eye was still listed but Natalee was so nice about everything, I couldn’t be bothered to address it.
Overall, highly recommend for the vibes and champagne but eat somewhere else first.
Also, the restrooms are located allllllll the way on the opposite side of the pool. Happy to have been...

2nd review: Three years later after my initial 3 star review I thought I would return and give the establishment another try. I have never been so poorly treated. The manager acted like we came for free food.
We waited to be seated and were more than happy to do so. The hostess was lovely. We didn't like where we were seated and wanted to be on the couches on the edge of the rooftop so we could chat. My friend asked a couple if we could join them and they obliged. A waiter came and told my friend that they don't allow that even if both parties don't mind. Seeing how we were spoken to a couple next to that couple who had the same type of seating offered for us to sit there instead as they were waiting to pay and leave. We thanked them and moved. The waiter then calls the manager who arrived ready to fight telling us we aren't allowed to sit there and was so condescending and rude it was jarring. The other two couples in earshot stared in surprise and we stared in shock. I wanted to understand the policy and asked "why is that" and his response was "because". I didn't want to be dragged into this bizarre juvenile playground argument I was being bated into so we asked if we could wait by the corner and get the table once the couple had paid and left and that was agreed. While we waited they decided to seat other people there instead. We asked a waitress why we were sidelined and she said the manager told them to seat the other people. Eventually he came to speak to us and Said he didn't know we wanted to sit there. Imagine that. We voiced our disappointment at the treatment, he didn't bother apologizing or even owning up to his poor treatment of us so we left. Never again. A manager should be able to handle such a non issue with more grace. Appalling. A little training...
Read moreThis restaurant was just a sheer nightmare. Firstly, when I walked in, empty tables were left dirty for the next people to sit. I literally had to clear my own table. After sitting for 20minutes unattended, I had to get up and search for both a menu and a waiter. When I was finally able to stop a waiter, I informed him of the drink I would like to order, it took another 40minutes before my tea was brought to me. I asked the waiter if I could get some slices of lemon along with some honey, he nodded and never came back. I saw him walking around but still did not comeback with my lemon and honey. At this point, ordering food was out of the question. 15minutes into my tea, I saw the manager approaching, when she came it was to ask if I could move to another table so she could reserve my table for incoming customers. I informed her that I had not gotten service of anything I had further requested, and that she should give me 15 more minutes, because I was wrapping up and she told me that 15minutes would be too late. I stood up to move, and she said she would send over a complimentary tea with the lemon and honey I had requested. After moving, it took another 25minutes, before this "complementary" tea, was brought. Having been horrified enough, I asked for the bill immediately which took another 20minutes before it was brought. If I atleast had food to rate on, I am sure my review would be a lively 2start, but since not, and since negative 3stars does not exist, 1star...
