This place is truly a one of a kind experience. It's run by a South African man (Kevin), his Korean wife, and her mother. Kevin serves food to the tables, and his wife and mother in law do the cooking. There are only a few tables and so the service is very attentive and personalised. My sister and I grew up in Asia and have been struggling to find authentic Asian food in Pretoria. This place blew us away with its dedication to making only food that is authentically Korean. Kevin, our host, was very nice to talk to and we had great conversations. But let's get to the food. We got the set menu dinner. You get to choose meat dishes according to the number of people, so for us that was 2. We got two massive hotplates with meat, a few veggies and a marinade that we then put over a small stove and cooked...

Been going here for years. Used to be owned by a Korean lady who made this makkeoli (rice beer) bread, fresh, every single morning. Every time we came, she would give us a complimentary batch just because we were always telling her how much we loved it. Now, owned by a South African man and Korean wife, also very friendly. The food hasn't changed too much since she left but unfortunately, no more makkeoli bread! The only thing I wouldn't recommend ordering anymore is the mul naengmyun, which is so upsetting because it used to be one of the best dishes on the menu. Now the noodles are sadly too thick. What an experience!!! As a kdrama fan i have been curious about korean cuisine so on Saturday evening my partner surprised with this beautiful, authentic experience. The ambience feels like home with a warm and engaging host who allowed us to vlog our experience. The food was so flavorful and fresh. The korean soju is so smooth and not overly alcoholly, lol. I truly cannot wait to experience this again ♡ in the meantime I'm going to stayed glued to thier YouTube to decide...
