Shilla Korean Cuisine- cooking perfection indeed — Restaurant in Gauteng

I booked a table for 3 for a special occasion - we got stuck literally right up against the serving bar. Drinks were served quickly but we had to wait 30 minutes for the food waitress to come take our order because 'she was busy'. Then another long wait for the food to arrive. Noone checks on us during the meal and we sit with empty plates in front of us for ages until they are cleared. When we want to order dessert, we are informed that at 20:10, the kitchen is now closed and dessert is impossible. If someone had been looking after us properly, we would have been well in time for dessert. The food was alright but all the rest was disappointing that I will not return to...

Finally we made here. Very welcoming place, very good service. I had the chance to park within the house, very few parking slots but you can find other outside. We were seated in the place where it is allowed to make the corean barbecue. We could move to the place but was cold. It is still possible to order corean bbq items which will be prepared in the kitchen and brought to you. However it is not the same. Amazing place and food!! Very filling even though at first the portions seem small. Don't underestimate it! The managers and servers are very well informed, and service is amazing!.
