Worst experience ever..wish i read the newest comments before wasting my money here Firstly i walked in the restaurant without being sanitized, my table was not santized either..get a table and was allocated a waiter named Mahendra- no introduction, luckily enough he had a name badge. It would be nice to get a warm welcome especially since they say they are a fine dining restaurant ...theres a certain level of service that is expected.Meals arrived- we ordered mutton bunnies...the meat was slimy was fatty..the curry itself was bland and tasteless...curry had no colour..it was the worst mutton bunny I've eaten in my life. We are from jhb and was on holiday and a good mutton bunny was something we really wanted to try when in Durban..After tasting it we informed our waiter and he said he will inform the manager, no manager in site ..waiter came around to clear plates and we expressed our disappointment again and he said he notified the manager...we were there a good 15 mins after and still no visit from the manager. Its sad because this place really doesnt care about customer service or maybe they dont care about new customers.This branch really needs better management that are customer service focused otherwise its going to lose alot of customers and ruin...

I have had such good experiences and food here before so decided to take a group of friends for lunch. The service WAS SHOCKING. The management was disgusting; rude, and completely non-communicative. No one explained that there was a problem with the tandoori oven, or so they said, and no one came to discuss that perhaps we should order something else. After an hour and forty minutes, after asking at least 3 to 4 times what was happening, the food eventually arrived, which certainly was not up to the standard that it has been before. Instead of apologising, and offering some sort of compensation, the manager said "we have had customers like you before...." so utterly rude and disrespectful. Our waiter, Aubrey, was the only person in the restaurant who was trying to be helpful. I have NEVER had such awful service in any restaurant before, and certainly have never been treated with such disrespect by the management.
