The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was amazing.||Emanuel was very helpful when asked for anything.||||However not all was great.||the seats outside at the table are broken, there is no ashtray for the smokers, the Chandelier in the room had spiderwebs and hangs too low, I bumped my head about 3 times as I tend to forget. ||||The toilet's bowl is broken, and the tub's warm water tap and pipes rattles a lot when opening the tap, If someone else is also running a tub then your water in the hot tap disappears until they are finished running their tap. ||||when wanting to put water in the kettle for coffee, I opened the kettle and saw rusty water from perhaps a previous stay that might have happened +-4 months prior to my stay so I had to clean out the kettle first.||||There was no soap/shower gel for in case someone forgets their own.||||not all was bad either, it was very spacious with luxurious beds, a huge shower and bathroom everything was in working order and this was the first place where I actually saw a fire extinguisher inside of a room in an easily accessible position so that...
Read moreI traveled from US to South Africa in 2016, 2017 and 2018. My research collaborator at Wits University booked me in this guest house in 2016. I was impressed with the place. Since then I have stayed at this guest house three times. This is the only place where I stay when I visit Johannesburg. Beverly has maintained this place very well. Security is great. Rooms and kitchens are clean and well furnished. It is located in a very quiet place but near shops and restaurants. On my second and third trips, my daughters came with me. It was easy for us to lodge there because of its location and beauty. My daughters were very happy with the place. Beverly and her workers were very helpful to my daughters. Read moreI have been travelling to Lephalale since 2014, and my experience about B&B's in Lephalale hasn't really been pleasant ones, to an extend that I had written Lephalale off I had made peace with the fact that the people running B&Bs in Lephalale have no clue what hospitality is all about. Up until of recent that Inca Lily Guest House redeemed Lephalale Hospitality Sector for me, they did a sterling job. It is such a pity that I have forgotten the lady's name that was assisting during my stay at Lily's I felt like a king the lady went out of her way to make my stay as comfortable and as conducive as possible. It went to a point that she wanted to iron my clothes for me. Thank you for the excellent service, may the good Lord bless the work of your hands and may your business grow from strength...
