The first impression that Tigers Milk gives you is the upbeat atmosphere that promises a good night out. I don’t agree with the seating layout, it’s not that it creates any issues, I just personally feel that a little more thought could have gone into it. That’s just my opinion. The atmosphere keeps the mood going all night long with the good music and friendly staff. Their music choices are perfect but it can be a little loud. I often had to strain to hear the conversations the table as the music was just overwhelming and this prohibited most social interactions as I’m not a fan of having to shout across the dinner table just to be heard. However this is the vibe they want to create so I understand this is what most people are looking for so I can’t be too critical on that point.
The food is really really good. There are a multitude of options, including both vegetarian AND vegan options which I must commend them on. Their vegan range is very impressive and the food is extremely satisfying.
Their drinks keep this standard. If you like your cocktails strong with a real kick then this is definitely the place for you. Not your usual watered down sprite and who knows what. Tigers Milk Cedar Square promises a good, strong and potent drink that will knock your socks off. I personally recommend their Long Island ice tea. Just WOW.
The staff are friendly, helpful and always smiling. Polite and respectful, great customer service. Our waiter seemed to be new and confused several of our orders but nothing too serious. He was extremely friendly and polite so I really can’t complain as a mixed up drink order won’t hurt anyone and I’m sure he’s still getting the hang of things.
Overall, if you enjoy a loud, pumping evening with good food and drinks surrounded by people having a good time then Tigers Milk is the place for you. Personally if I wanted to chill with music that loud I would go to a club but maybe that’s just me. I enjoyed the night out and would definitely recommend trying Tigers Milk at Cedar Square. It’s definitely worth the experience and you won’t regret ordering a bite to eat with a great drink to wash it down with. Definitely an enjoyable evening for anyone looking for...
Read moreNice Place, food is ok, however No service what so ever. We were there for almost 4 hours and hardly seen our waiter. VERY DISAPPOINTING: In a winter day they had 1 working heater outside for smoking area, which seemed to have become property to a specific table of a few little girls who called Bouncers to beat up a client from next table, simply over a gas heater. The next table had the audacity to ask to share the heater which meant moving the heater few centimeters to the side. One of the girls threw a tantrum and a swearing session started over a heater, so her bouncers came to sort out her hurt dignity with in no time. In all this pathetic low trash drama manager was watching from a side so were the tiger's milk security people... At the end of all this seen in the middle of nice Saturday day one of the bouncers even said in a fearful tone - "are you guys mad, do you know who you dealing with" So who was that little girl that could own the heater of the restaurant and call bouncers to beat up clients - I can not even care less but bottom line - Speaks very loud about the restaurant, even if she was the owner of the place. The scary part was that later, after the little girls have left, a lady came to ask in fearful way if she can take the heater, which she has come specifically 5 days ago to book, because it is the only working heater the place have.... By the sound of it this was not an accident, nor a first time argument over a small gas heater. REALLY - you can not afford to invest in a gas heater that is less than a R1000 ??? Please make sure you have enough working umbrellas for summer - don't wanna know what will happen if this little trash girl comes in summer and she might have to share umbrella with someone - she might call the army on you...

We went to Tiger’s Milk Cedar Square for a casual night out, and while the evening started off great, the way we were treated at the end completely ruined the experience.
As we were finishing up, an older bouncer approached our table and told us it was time to leave. We had no issue with this—we simply said we’d finish our final round and then head out. The venue was still full of people, so he could have easily checked on other tables and come back to us. Instead, he chose to stand at our table the entire time, refusing to leave and making us feel uncomfortable.
He even pressured my friend by staring at him while he drank, alluding to the fact that he wouldn’t leave until my friend downed his full beer in one go. There was absolutely no reason for this—none of us were rowdy, drunk, or causing any problems.
When we eventually left, I came back a few minutes later to speak to the manager because I felt we were unfairly targeted. There were still other full tables inside, yet we were forced out so rudely despite being paying customers.
As I was addressing my concerns with the manager, another man in the venue suddenly stood up and started shouting at my friend (a woman) and me, aggressively telling me to “respect the bouncer because he’s old.” He then made a degrading comment toward my friend, insinuating that she wasn’t a respectable woman simply because she was in the bar.
The entire situation was handled unprofessionally, from the unnecessary pressure to leave to the way we were confronted when we tried to voice our concerns. No customer should be treated this way, and it’s disappointing that an establishment like this allows...
