Yesterday evening my family and I had the pleasure of dining at Spur Tulsa and I must say that this time the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for the entire evening.

The stellar service provided by the manager, Dominic, and our waiter, Turshfor, truly elevated the dining experience to a whole new level.

I observed both the manager and our waiter. Dominic's dedication to ensuring that each of my guests’ satisfaction was palpable. He was not only paying attention to my guest but every patron in the restaurant and that is excellent customer experience. He does not only manage the restaurant seamlessly but also took the time to engage with diners, ensuring everyone felt welcome and attended to. His attention to detail was evident in the way he personally checked on each table, ensuring that everything was up to par.

Turshfor, our waiter for the evening, was an absolute delight. With a genuine smile and a friendly demeanor, he made us feel like cherished guests. He guided us through the menu with extensive knowledge about the dishes and their preparation. Placed my order. Paid R600 including tip. I am a regular at spur, first time at this spur.

Worst food I have ever had at spur, should be disgraced to call themselves spur. Burned prawns, she'll burned but bottom part of the prawn raw. Spare ribs had no sauce, dry and tough, no flavor. Salad had some really old lettuce, already turning brown Schnitzel was perfectly cold and and dry The sauce was a small tub, 25ml, which does not even cover a 1000th of the Schnitzel Worst, got wooden knife and fork, not sure how one is meant to cut through ribs with a wooden knife

After posting this review, the spur manager contacted me within 20 minutes, to apologize and even came to my hotel and gave me a full refund and apology face to face, while the food wasn't good at all and could have given me food poisoning, the service from the manager was brilliant to take a direct route and to offer a face to face apology....

Gone are the days of the infamous "devils fork" and the delectable salad bar from good old days Spur. We can deal with that, but sadly, our last visit confirmed that almost all the meat at Spur is basted in a sweet sauce. Spur steaks used to be succulent and actually tasted like meat. The nachos crisps have also been replaced with a much thinner crisp. Ladtly, we paid extra for a double burger for my husband, who was very hungry after a full day out in the wilderness. I had a single burger. When our plates arrived, my single burger was not only larger but also seemed to have more fillings. The manager, whom I kindly approached, reverted to blaming the waitress for not telling us that the double burgers are a mere 60g heavier than single burgers. I assured the manager that we could read, but that the point was that my husband's burger, which cost more, actually looked like less, and the patties on the double burger were clearly unappetizing.
