Wimpy Kolonnade Retail Park — Restaurant in Gauteng

After sanitizing at the door I waited quite some time before showed to be seated. The waiter passed my table and drop a menu on my table. After a while she took my order and I only ordered a cup of tea. Before I could indicate that I dont use any milk she left with my order. I waited quite a long time for the tea to arrive. I then asked if I can change the milk to normal tap water instead. As I was in a hurry, I left the table after about 10 minutes and took the tea and teapot with me and asked the lady at the till to put the tea in a take away cup. The waiter then arrived with the water. I paid for the tea and left. I did not drink it as it was cold and untasteful at that time and I threw it away. On hide side, I should just have just left the tea on the table and left but I felt responsible to pay but will never visit that...

I once told myself that I will never done at Wimpy again after my disappointment at Cape town airport wimpy. I accidentally found myself heading to Wimpy since it is my old time favourite restaurant.

Here, I received an excellent service that I was anticipating, thanks to Annah who was my waitress for the day. She went extra mile in making sure that my stay is cosy. She was patient with me even when I was registering for the wimpy app. eventhogh she had knocked off already.

Pathetic service, was there around 13h30 today, Sunday. They were not very busy, took 10 minutes after being seated to take our order for 3 coffees, another 15 minutes of no coffee arriving. We then decided to leave as we had an appointment at 14h00. As we were walking out, one of the waiters shouted our order is coming. I'm sorry but how long does it take to make coffee. We've had coffee at many different Wimpy's before and never waited more than a few...
