We have been in Plett almost two weeks and despite our good intentions to try all the new restaurants the weather hampered our efforts. We did go to a couple of old favourites and finally this week got to go back to one we were determined to revisit after our delicious meal last time we were in Plett. That was Adi's Kitchen. We had a great meal there on Wednesday, so we went back on Thursday, and on Friday. I don't know why anyone in Plett bothers to eat anywhere else! Over the three lunches we've had prawns and prawns and steak and lamb chops and, oh yes, did I mention prawns? I complained to Adrian (Adi) and the manager Ashley about their prices - too low. 300 gram rump plus 6 queen prawns (the menu says prince but their prawns are all queens) for a measly R175! Four generous lamp chops for R198, a dozen "drunken" queen prawns in a rich tomato and vodka sauce with linguini for R155! I could go on. But what about the food itself? Prawns perfectly cooked, nice and plump. Steak ordered medium rare was exactly medium rare, lamb chops medium with crispy fat - just right. Next year we'll start off at Adi's on Monday to give us plenty of opportunities to enjoy their food! I should also mention that their moist chocolate cake was fabulous and not an enormous piece like some...

As a longtime vegan in Plett, I was delighted to see that there was a vegetarian section of the lunch/dinner menu in this type of restaurant!

Although there were no particular items on the menu that did not include any animal products, or at least none that were marketed, it was easy to simply request to remove an item from one of the vegetarian options — or two from any of the other vegetarian options in another case.

The pricing for these vegetarian options were very decent, and along with excellent service from my waiter Sam, and a lovely casually classy atmosphere that reflects well with the joined hotel — this is easily one of the best spots to eat in Plett.

Thank you very much, and I will definitely be coming...

Having not visited Plett in far too long we were quite unsure where to dine. After many google searches and walking up and down, we miraculously stumbled upon Adi’s - and let me just say, they did not disappoint! We were greeted by the owner himself who was absolutely wonderful. He came around for a chat and made us feel quite at home. Honestly I was so lost in our waiters charm that I actually didn’t get his name but I was so impressed by his service! (Tall chap with a gorgeous smile! I hope the owners know who I’m talking about because he was just the best ever!!!) the food was incredible, the atmosphere was delightful and i cannot wait to come back! Thank you thank you thank you is all I can say! Do...

The manager or owner was very rude to my family during my time going to the restrooms he demanded for the table to be cleansed by his staff whilst they were still sitting at the table preparing for other customers. It was very rude whilst you still have customers sitting there or did he thought that we won't be able to pay. As a paying customer coming there for the first time I will most definitely not go there again or even refer people there. Client satisfaction is key though being handled very well by the waiter who served us but due to this pathetic manager I will not recommend this place not even to locals as a visitor from a neighboring town.

July 2024 so lucky to spend 2 nights at the Bayview Hotel and to eat at Adi's Kitchen. A beautiful spacious clean space with the most spectacular view. All the staff were so helpful, checking on us to see if we were satisfied. We had continental breakfast both mornings, the plates were hot, which we LOVED! The scrambled egg was done perfectly, as was sausages and the bacon was very tasty.our sourdough was done old fashioned way in the slow turning toaster so came out just right and the fresh still warm fruity muffins and hot coffee afterwards were an added treat. Well done to the staff and chef, we hope to be back again soon
