Absolutely terrible service from this branch of Debonairs...And to top it off it is not the first time that this has happened.
I placed an online order at 12:58 (02/09/24) At this time of writing my review is currently 14:29 and low and behold I still do not have my order. Called the store twice and was given excuse upon excuse about the order taking long and the issue with drivers and all other stories... Excuse after excuse but to no avail not a single solution to me getting my food having waited almost 2 hours.
They had then said they needed to find out what the issue was and they would call me back, upon them calling me back yet another excuse of telling me I have to place another order, the delivery charge will be higher and that they will have to find another driver. I asked for a manager or a head office contact number and got nothing.
I had to resort to calling customer careline to lay a formal complaint and ask them to cobtact the store to find out what was the issue and for them to escalate the matter to some form of higher management or the franchise owner.
To whomever will be reading this review and responding...Please do not resort to the same old same old "We are sorry to hear about your bad experience" and "We will do our best to ensure this does not happen again" and "We thank you for being a loyal customer" and "We hope you have a better experience next time" because for the third time this has happened and I've received the exact same disappointing service. Absolutely terrible reflection of this Debonairs branch at total umhlanga the owner should be disgraced at the way In which their employees carry themselves and handle issues.
I would absolutely love for someone in higher management to contact me.
Please by all means provide me an actual number or email address where I can get a response and speak to someone regarding this continuous poor service of this...

Disappointed with the service and food. Spoke to 2 different people both of which said I had assumed that I placed the order wrong, When I had placed the order along with others seeing what we had order and removed to replace with. When asked what was going to be done about resolving the issue, They were persistent on saying that I was making assumptions, When I had asked how is this going to be taken up of the app was the issue in relaying the order to the store, I was told twice that can't have happened as they received notifications of the app being down and other people are ordering and paying. After being such a long time customer and ordering so frequently from this specific store, I am highly disappointed with the way I was treated and the after service received. A very poor reflection of putting the customers needs first. Absolutely disappointed and definitely now asking me think twice about ever ordering...
Read moreWent to order pizza's after work yesterday. I had noticed that there is a new female manager who is now in charge at this Debonairs. While waiting for my order, I sat and watched her mannerisms for a while. I was appaled by the way she treats her staff in front of customers, screaming at the staff member for running low on sauce (and thought, if that's how she is on a normal day, imagine behind closed doors with these staff members). No respect for them at all..
When the UberEats guy came, he nicely greeted her to which she simply ignored him and only acknowledged that he was even there was when she handed him his food..
A client who ordered but had their phone off therefore a delivery was unable to take place and the driver returned to store.. This female manager eventually got through to the client and had told her of the above incident. No greetings exchanged whatsoever.
This type of management is not on. Please treat your staff members with a bit of respect, humanity goes a long way. Very disappointing to...
