Been visiting Pizzaratta from its existence around 12 years ago. Very conveniently located opposite Overport city, you will be welcomed by a humbled young man by the name of Ashraf, who I have gotten to know as a person that’s extremely passionate about food, ensuring that every customer leaves his spot with a smile on their face and a belly full of tasty eastern fused Italian goodness. I visit family ever so often in Durban and cannot leave without having a rollo or pizza from Pizzaratta. It’s fresh, tasty and not to forget how reasonably priced Ashraf’s maintained his menu to be. Always a favourite and I would highly recommend the Pizzaratta experience to everyone looking for a quick meal on the go in Durban. Tried Pizzaratta after while & really enjoyed the foods. They were running a special, 2 for R100 (chicken or veg) or any 3 pizzas for R165 excluding Lamb. We opted for 3 special & it was very well worth it. We also took the chicken rolos, 2 for R30. We are so used to our thick based pizzas, which Pizzaratta does not do, but the thin bases were just as nice.
