Heroes Diner Lifestyle — Restaurant in Musgrave

I just got home with my takeaway order from Heroes in Musgrave. As I entered the restaurant, I could get a burnt oil scent. Nevertheless, I placed my order for 8 wings and Chili cheese fries. I've just got home and decided to taste. To my disgust, both the Chili cheese fries and wings tasted like it was fried in that burnt oil, which probably had burnt spices and flavor. I will never order again from this place. Extremely disappointed and would never recommend this place to anyone. The wings are claimed to taste like that of Chicken Licken. However, it's just basic drummets coated and fried in burnt flavored oil. A waste of my time, and money!!! It's actually sad as I trusted the reviews and decided to give this restraunt a try but the food did not keep up to how the reviews...

Loooove their food!!

We live in Summerveld and travel at least once a month to get some of their food.

I love their club parcel (get the salt & vinegar spice with the masala)) and all their sauces.

Their broast chicken is to die for… Crispy, juicy and not greasy at all. Their fiery sauce is amazing with the chicken.

Their burgers are not to be missed either, it their Masala Gatsby.

Their chips are proper “slap” chips, which is REALLY hard to find in the Durban area.

They do pizza and pasta during the weekends, and have a lot of kiddies options.

Their toasties (especially the fully loaded steak) is a meal for two, but oh so delicious.

Personally I will never eat at heroes again. Every single time I’ve ordered from here I received the wrong order. When I call to enquire I get told that either the grills are already off or that there’s no driver to deliver my correct order. The one time they told me to claim my free sandwich it never arrived and they blamed it on the delivery driver lol. As an owner/manager it’s your duty to ensure that your customer is satisfied. What you should have done is delivered it yourself. A bunch of wasted money and time. If you’re incompetent and have no customer service skills you shouldn’t be running a fast...
