Went to the restaurant after 2 doctors appointments with the wife after reading the rave reviews on FB .Got to the place was handed menus by a bravo male .When I enquired about the starter regarding the samosas ie menu reads 4x(mince; potato; sweetcorn; chicken) if we could get 2 sweetcorn and 2 mince he plainly refused and said that was not possible so I asked him to please call the manager so I could ask him if such a request was possible he then turned nasty and says " Do you think I'm stupid" I told him hold on my friend I'm not fighting with you all I am doing is requesting to talk to the manager .NB said waiter did not have a name tag on and also the Indian gentleman who came out supposedly the manager who later admitted he was a waiter and not the manager or owner. He said they could not do two different samosas but we would have to buy the seperated ie 4 mince and 4 veg .Who wants to eat 4 large samosas and on top of that eat ur meals. While conversing with the so called manager the 1st waiter came out and gave me such a dirty look that I was on the verge off getting up and leaving the establishment when the elderly gentleman convinced me otherwise.Place our orders that did come in a short space of time my mixed veg bunny was spot on wife's mutton biryani was nothing to write home about my appletizer was warm .Ordered a deconstructed Kabab bunny for son at home was informed if it's a deconstructed bunny then u pay another 10 rand more for the pickle that normally come with a sit down bunny .When I enquired about toilet facilities I was directed to the municipal toilets on the beach front some 7 to 8 hundred metres away.I wonder how establishments are granted a licence to operate with out basic facilities. Very disappointed will not go...
Read moreI bought two chicken bunnies , the curry was terrible , the bread at the bottom was soggy , the curry had no flavor .It was evident that they added water to the curry from the previous day .the water washed gravy of the chicken and potatoes. i bought the bunny special , I thought that maybe the curry for the special is different from the normal curry since it was so bad . I called the waiter to address my concerns ,He agreed that the base was soggy , he tried to justify it by saying the curry was just cooked thats why its watery which didnt make sense , nevertheless he denied that the curry was different for the special and took what was left of the bunnies and went to throw it . My parents really felt like eating a good curry and seeing their disappointment just made me more irritated so Before leaving i went to the bald man behind the till to inform him of my experience , He refused to accept the fact that the curry had water and became rude and defensive as if i was making it up , he said “we do not use water in our curry , we use tomatoes and onions “ which is a blatant lie I told him that he can ask the waiter to show him the bunnies in trash bin and I left . I will strongly not recommend their food . Its evident they are using the previous days food to be served to customers and taking short cuts in their service . As for their attitude it was bad there was no apology . you rather pay more for your food elsewhere and get...
