The sunken gardens at durbans beach front is truely beautiful. The summer flowers are an absolute delight together with the mixture of indigenous plants. The old slate and timber structures together with a beautiful circular pond makes for a really picture perfect moment. The mosaic work just adds the finishing touches to durbans colourful history. The only thing good about this garden is the flowers. Other than that, it is very poorly maintained and looks very dodgy and unsafe. The water features contain dirty water and have clearly not been consistently cleaned: there was even a dead bird that looked like it was in the water for a while. Do not recommend at all for any formal events or as...
