⚠️ Do Not Order From This Store! Food was inedible, hygiene questionable, and customer service completely dismissive. Chicken smelled like fish, lacked basic seasoning, and posed a serious allergy risk. Staff showed no accountability and referred me elsewhere instead of resolving the issue. This is not just poor service — it’s dangerous.

After an exhausting week I decided to order food for my family via the Ubereats App. 2 tikkas and broad beans bunnies. The food tasted awful. Lacked seasoning. The chicken smelt like fish. I contacted the store and spoke to a Sofia twice. She said that this is their norm. They use spices that gives the chicken a fishy smell. I explained that a member of my family is highly allergic to seafood (an allergy restauranteurs should know is not to be taken lightly especially nuts and fish). Besides a no care attitude Sofia was happy to share a Junaid and Irfaans number after refering us to handle this matter with Uber instead of the store where you would expect the matter to be corrected. We had a delightful dinner at My Diners on the beachfront, on our recent trip to Durban.

The service was fantastic. We were seated promptly on arrival and our friendly waiter took our order quickly. We opted to share the Mixed Grill, a generous platter featuring chicken tikka, beef kebab, chicken boti, lamb chops, and chips. We also shared a rogni naan which complemented the dish nicely.

The portion size was enormous. It's hard to believe that the dish is usually served for one person. It turned out to be perfect for sharing between two! Everything was freshly cooked to perfection – flavourful and satisfying.

Considering the quality and quantity of food, My Diner offers excellent value for money. We left feeling happy and completely full!

While the restaurant itself doesn't have a direct ocean view, the lively family atmosphere and tasteful decor made up for it.

Terrible experience. The staff were not helpful or friendly. The restaurant was filthy (I saw one of the staff members even use a serviette and scrunch it up and throw it on the floor in front of the restaurant), I ordered a chicken tikka as a takeaway and it came out pink. I took it back in and asked them to cook it a little more becuase it was raw. I waited for a further 30 mins. The original staff member that helped me had disappeared, another man appeared when I took it back, when I went back the second time to collect my food the second guy was gone and a third individual was there. No one knew about my order. There was zero communication between staff members. One was on her cell phone, the other told me she only deals with drinks.
