Hoping to skip traffic and treat my girlfriend I went to the sea point in the mood for shwarmas. Stoped and asked at the door and waiter said yes they do sell. Excited we ordered shwarmas. But there was staff transitioning. We received a 2 bowls with cut up chicken and fried potatoes cubes. Confused, asked the waiter don't shwarmas usually come with some sort of wrap. Only to say to me he can add wraps so we can put it in, its R12 a wrap. Only after receiving the food. Little frustrated and thinking it's R155 for 2 very very basic items. And now it's additional charges for garnish and the rest as well I guess. That's outrageous. Sadly no one rectified anything, no on asked if everything was okay. As we went there for Shwarmas specifically. It's was just us in the restaurant with the staff Sadly no one checked in with us. Not one of the 5 or so. They had something to giggle about though while looking at us every now and again. Maybe the meal we ordered was a joke to them. Was not funny to us though. After paying the bill I went to have a look at the menu at front counter. I asked I wanted to eat shwarmas. On your menu there is shwarmas,

Why couldn't we get that witch we came to eat. I'm sorry that detail was clear before entry and order.

Communication would have been great from there side

Apology was not acceptable, miss communication? Oh really.

R450 for what? Bad service and delivery. And I even had to tip. Revolting.

The food item was mediocre at best. I'm being polite.

It was highly disappointing.

But apparently next time. I highly doubt it.

You don't order ribs and receive a peanut...

I really wanted to love this. Ive been dying to go for some time and decided that taking my team for a mid work day lunch on this beautiful warm winters day was the day.

We (3 of us) arrived at 11:45am. Friendly welcomes all round and only one other table occupied by a single patron.

While our waitress was pleasant.. It does not make up for the wait of our food. We ordered by 12pm. By 12:48pm none of our schwarmas had arrived. We ordered stock std chicken and beef schwarmas. I cannot understand how meat that is cooked, pitas and salads that are ready can take that long.

The potatoes came at 12:50 followed by our schwarmas which came at 12:55. Almost a one hour wait?

We got complimentary Falafels delivered by our waitress which was a sweet gesture to say sorry but by that time our hunger was in full force.

I'm afraid to say, the food was average and didn't justify the long wait. It appeared like so many people were behind the kitchen but its obviously not running efficiently.

The Falafels were very tasty.

I dont think ill return. When I think schwarma i think, quick and satisfying. I didnt get that vibe here.

Wish the establishment...

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic establishment, and I'm thrilled to say that they're the new falafel experts in town! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the beautiful open-plan display and tasteful decor. The friendly staff immediately made us feel at ease, and the owner's warm welcome included a generous offering of snacks and a thorough introduction to the menu.

We were famished, and I can confidently say that I was thoroughly satisfied by the generous portions. The Laffas we ordered were absolutely delicious, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an authentic and flavorful meal. As a local in Sea Point, I can confidently say that I won't be going anywhere else for my falafel fix from now on. A huge thank you to David and his team for providing an exceptional...

Late midweek dinner with the Cost Center. Both ordered the crispy chicken tenders option with everything; and mine with chili. To start, we were served complementary deep fried bread with 4 sauces, which was nice. Food itself was unremarkable. The Tastebud pronounced it as “meh”. Maybe we were unlucky, as it was close to closing time on a cold and wet Tuesday night. Price for 2: R410 (with tip) STRICTLY HALAAL, so NO ALCOHOL & limited soft drinks A little disappointing, as I was really excited to try this place based on the reviews. Maybe a second visit is in order.

I love falafels and the falafel guy is extraordinary delicious as far as falafels & pita & Shawarma. The service was amazing the food was amazing. We were almost as content after the accompaniments. We had a beef pita with all the add ons and it was divine!
