Simply Asia Stellenbosch — Restaurant in Stellenbosch Local Municipality

I love simply Asia; love their food, however this particular experince was incredibly dissapointing.

Simply Asia stellenbosch deleivers excellent food dont get me wrong - their service on the other hand is completely atrocious.

Firstly our waitress had not informed us prior to ordering that the wait time would be 1 HOUR AND A HALF. Yes, you heard me right 1 hour and a half.

Other customers that had already ordered before us had inquired us how long it would take - the waitress had responsed that it would take 1 hour and a half , why? Because she forgot to give their order to the chefs 1 hour ago hence these poor people would have to wait more than 2 hours for their food.

The waitresses are completely useless and forgetful - my partner had ordered the crumbed chicken with noodles of which it was given to us WITHOUT the sauce ( the entire main aspect of the dish is the brown sweet sauce to GO WITH THE CHICKEN ). I informed the waitress that there should be sauce with his dish of which she just blankly stared at me asking if i wanted salt.....

I understand it gets busy and yes sometimes the waiting time is 40 minutes BUT do not tell me 1 hour and a half justifies a bowl of noodles and absoulety pathetic service.

Please get new waitresses or train...

I am giving a 3-star review because we have ordered from the newly renovated and much improved Simply Asia Stellenbosch and have had incredible experiences more than once — the owner is very hands-on, the food has been great and since we order by telephone and collect, the waiting times have always been perfect. Based on the above, I would give a 5-star review. However, tonight, we ordered, as we always do, and we were told out the food would be ready in about 30 min and requested to pay by means of cash which we happily agreed to. On our way, we stopped to withdraw cash and arrived approximately 35 min later but were told they were still busy with the one dish in our order. We proceeded to wait another 20 odd minutes after which we were offered the 1 dish while we were (still) waiting for the other.

From what we could see, the restauataurant seemed very busy with takeaway orders, so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt based on prior good experiences. Hopefully I can soon edit my review...

My.Folks ordered a collection of different items on the menu especially the spring rolls they were big supporters of this franchise but after the last delivery it will defnetly there last ( The food that was delivered was definitely not fresh it tasted old as if it was made in the morning ) someone needs to seriously fix this with action your bussness will not make the grain in stellenbosch my folks are 78 years of age they definitely dont deserve such bad food not should anyone

Your action relating to a issue my folks had have been restored with a 100%the food that you personally delivered was done to perfection please pass our gratitude to your team including Juilian he is a true ambassador on the day of my visit
