This place is amazing. My girlfriend and I had to drive to Cape Town for authentic Bubble Tea, considering the current fuel prices this is no longer viable, so we are extremely happy that we now have a local shop for this. First impressions are important and man did this place leave a mark. Amazing service and friendly staff. That first sip will blow you away!
EDIT:
My wife and I have been coming bere for a very long time, since the day that it opened. Unfortunately as with a lot of these wonderful shops, when the owner no longer is in the shop every day, the quality and service takes a HARSH dip. We have not had a consistent experience with the drinks for the last 2 months. Orders arrive wrong such as the wrong drinks, the wrong temperature and delayed service. Not 5 or 10 minute delays, but 40 and 45 minute delays. The bubble tea no longer tastes creamy and thick but more like normal earl gray tea with boba pearls in. There's nothing special about the drinks anymore. Today was the worst where my and my wife's drinks tasted like tap water with almost no milk in at all. Not a great experience in the slightest. It's sad to see such an amazing shop...
Read moreI been dying to go to Booba Beautea for a long time. I wanted to go because of their Teddy Bear Booba and I was not disappointed!!! It is far to drive there if you are not in Stellenbosch.
This little place is inside like Cape Victorian house and they have a flower wall display which everyone goes and take pictures there. As mentioned, I wanted the Teddy Bear Booba which is the teddy bear mould with tapioca pearls. The teddy bear is actual frozen tea and there's a glass jar of warm tea that you pour over the teddy bear. What an experience and so instagramable. We also had their mochi ice-cream and strawberry matcha mochi.
This review should be a close 5-star but for me, the vibe while sitting there is a bit lonely (even though there were other customers) I didn't feel the warmth. The mochis are tasty but there's just something for that 'wow' factor to kick in. I like the server very much!!! He was friendly and smiling all the time while he explains the menu. He makes it a different experience. The prices are about R50 for a drink and from R40...
Read moreI’ve always needed to go to Cape Town for my fix of boba and when I heard Stellenbosch had a boba shop I was filled with excitement and went there as soon as I could. There was a bit of a wait but as soon as I saw our drinks I knew it was well worth the wait. They use fresh fruit in their fruit teas and the fact that I can adjust the sugar levels of my boba is amazing. My mom (who isnt much of a bubble tea fan) fell in love with their signature brown sugar bubble tea and it’s our new favorite shop in Stellenbosch. The customer service was amazing and the decor of the shop left me in awe. THE FLOWER WALL 😍 They also have delicious sushi options for a vegetarian like me, who’s been struggling to find a good sushi restaurant that caters for my needs. They will definitely be seeing me at...
