Col'Cacchio Florida Road — Restaurant in Windermere

Yesterday was the first time I got to experience Col’Cacchio ( Florida road), where we were greeted by the sweetest waiter, Bongeva. She guided us through the detailed menu and in less than (approx) 20minutes, our order arrived. First drinks then food. It tasted as good as it looked! I always try out, any new establishments, Magherita & if they can get that right then it’s clear they know flavour. The Magherita pizza was 👌🏼💯, accompanied with The Mogul Chicken which was full of flavour (yum)… mmm them brown onions on the top! 🤤 My friend and I couldn’t stop there & went into dessert. From the usual brownie + ice cream to…. A plate of Heaven! I forgot the name of this dish (see image attached) but we estimated it was similar to Bakhlava or a pie kind of sweet (since it said pastry) until this arrived. We dug in…… Oh Heaven! My experience at col caccio was extremely awful. I had ordered the seafood pasta which was honestly not one of their cheapest options. The pasta had a disgusting stinky fish smell and was extremely dry. I couldn’t even eat two morsels of it, the smell and taste was incredibly nauseating, similar to that of dried fish. When I had complained to the manager, she simply told me “that’s the way it smells and tastes”. My thoughts are that they feel they can serve someone absolute rubbish at a high price and simply tell them “that’s just how it tastes”. Really poor unhappy experience and I won’t be going here or recommending anyone to eat here ever again. I have tasted seafood pastas at many places before, and I have never had such a terrible experience with the quality of the food and the service. I've found my new go-to spot for pizza and pasta! col'cacchio florida road truly delivers (pun intended). The atmosphere is warm and cozy, but the real star of the show is the pizza.

I ordered the Oh My Soul and it was absolute perfection. The crust was crispy, the sauce was extremely tasty, and the cheese was melted to perfection. Toppings were fresh and in abundance. The best part about the pizzas is that you can choose two different toppings per pizza (half option 1 and half option 2)

The service was top-notch too - friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable staff. They gave very good suggestions and know their menu well. Manager was very hospitable and helpful
