I have a very Mixed review when it comes to this place. The food is amazing but the wife of the owner is absolutely rude. Was sad to see, as she was extremely humble when they opened the branch at Pavillion. Clearly remember her with a hair net on, sweating behind the grill. Now that they have extended to more branches, she seem to have a chip on her shoulder. She went to the extent of asking us to leave and go elsewhere, proceeded to tell us to post on social media if we like bcoz the customer is not always right and this was all over us asking for a bigger table, we hadn't even begun our meal. People like this should be ashamed of running a business in difficult times and not having respect for those who full ur pockets. Unfortunately we are nothing without our customers. Hope she learns a lesson...
The response sent by the owner is an absolute lie. I never used bad language or yelled at the poor mannered woman. Thqt is not my style. Having family businesses of our own we would not complain if 4 ppl wished to be seated at a 7 seater table. My family and I went in for a breakfast meal and the restaurant was almost empty. It was a bigger table but I assure u there was ample space for other patrons. Wish I had recorded the scene so people know how stories can be manipulated. I can put a hand on my kids head and repeat that the above I mentioned is true. As for bad language and bad behavior??? It's disgusting that you should stoop so low because you have no reason for ur behavior. Why is it ok for us to post good pics and good reviews but once we speak the truth then the customer is the bad one. CHECK YOURSELF AND RATHER LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES!!! Imagine if a customer is treated this way over a table???? God forbid you complain about something you don't enjoy. Afraid to think what lengths they wil go to. If business ethics were good, we apologize in good faith to show our customers their value. Not further insult them with lies via social media. Again I ask why is it OK to post a good review and NOT a bad one???? Would love the public to weigh in.
ISTANBUL I AM DONE JUSTIFYING YOUR BEHAVIOUR, GOD IS GREAT AND HE WILL DO WHATS...
Read moreI enquired if the establishment did iftaar and what do they offer their patrons, I was informed they give soup and a piece of bread, which was fine by me. I further went on to advise the person on the telephone that I would lile to place my order now so that we dont have a waiting time for the food as we would be breaking fast and wont have time to spare due to evening prayer. I telephonically placed my meal order to be ready by 6pm. (This is my first visit to this establishmemt.) I duly carried my own dates (for iftaar, as i wasnt sure if they offer). Once my family and i were at the establishment, i informed the manager of my reservation n meal arrangements. I also explained we will need water at the table. She assured me they on track with everything. At the dining table, i found a small tray of dates, which i thought was considerate. However, luckily i brought along my own as the table alongside us had nothing on theirs to break their fast with. I opted to give the dates from our table to them. Long story short, the food at the establishment arrived in drips and drabs, ( meat tasted old) waiters kept people waiting for their food, we never received our water despite numerous requests, until my husband went to them to pay for our meal, he requested the water to be sent to our table. The owner is utterly rude when confronted about the quality of the food we received. Other patrons also complained about the meat n returned their meal. I want to say, when you cannot be respectful to your patrons and have empathy with a listening ear then you in the wrong business. People dont come to your establishment for freebies, howeve, with an intention to have iftaar with their families, pay for their meals and just be peacful. Dont become defensive and threaten your customers with being thrown out when your customers call you to explain regarding the quality of the food received. Its honest criticism, All we wanted was to have a decent...
Read moreOn arrival, there was no hostess to seat us. The waitress was impatient and didnt communicate well. The managaress also asked us to leave because she claimed my mother was being rude (who is 74 years old.) Reapect was in order. But being prideful, a woman of her status, wouldnt get that. She claimed the customer isnt always right, which isnt why we were there. We visited the place for an experience. and in response to your reply....to put the record straight MANAGERESS. ..we DID NOT HAVE TAKE AWAYS (no food with us) and I most certainly did not shout obscenities!!! I have morals and I dealt with the situation with respect and appealed to let the matter go!!! How dare you shred a person's integrity!!!! Be VERY careful you dont get taken to court for this defimation of character!! I have 3 witnesses to your PRIDEFUL AND weak attempt to be a decent manager, which you FAILED AT!!!! You received no ridicule, until you proceeded to call my party ENTITLED!!! That deserves ridicule. The only unfortunate situation is your own reflection on others. When you open a business to cater for others, your nature of work is to serve all kinds of people.I have managed restaurants and coffee shops before, and waitressesd in my early days, so I have compassion and understanding with regard to this type of business . But not to your SELECTIVE service orientation. Which you could hardly call it. We were in no way mistreating your staff. I had a drink with me that was medicinal and your staff ASSUMED it was a beverage to undermine your business. GO and visit Savior cafe, and take a LESSON on SERVICE EXCELLENCE, instead of teaching your staff to JUDGE their customers, who by the way, PAY your business to survive!! YOU are an incompetent and JUDGEMENTAL person who TELLS LIES to defend your...
