Went here today and loved it.

This place is really popular so u definitely have to make an reservation. We tried to queue up right at 11:30am and were place 65, so lots of people are trying. It took quite some time until they shouted for our number. (For people with no korean phone number: Iโ€™m traveling with a Korean so she did the reservation process, I only have an internet eSIM and we noticed that without an Korean phone number you canโ€™t make any reservation.)

The restaurant has a very beautiful design inside, my guess would be, that itโ€™s supposed to have a strong Japanese vibe.

We ordered the Hitsumabush (one freshwater eel) for 39000W, the Kaiser don for 37000W and the tuna tataki for 18000W.

The menu has also a very beautiful design. There are explanations on how to eat the dishes so that you have the best experience, however thoses were only in Korean. (Google translater helps) They explained the instructions to us but that was sadly also only in Korean.

Anyways the food and service was great. My favorite was probably the eel and the tuna. ๐Ÿ˜‹

Would definitely come back ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Delicious hitsumabushi!! It is clean and concise in presentation, and as far as taste is concerned, superbness.

The eel fillet is presented in a wooden ohitsu, just like in Japan. They give you a wooden spatula to first divide your food into four portions. You are to eat the first portion as is, without adding anything- just the kabayaki eel and rice. Then, you add the chopped scallions and nori (seaweed) strips and wasabi for the second portion (yum), and the for the third portion, you are to pour the ochatsuke (green tea) over your food and eat it with the nori strips. And then finally, you eat the last however you want.

Personally, their mozuku in citron-sauce was the cherry to the sundae! It is tangy and cleans your palate when the food gets too heavy. Go ahead try it, we think this place is pretty...

A perfect place to enjoy delicious sashimi and other Japanese specialties. The menu is reassuringly concise. We ate the maguro-sake don (tuna and salmon) and the kaisen don (various types of fish). Both came as sets with their own side dishes and condiments. It was delicious. We supplemented this delicacy with a portion of tempura that was light and crispy. A place to return!

Note: when we arrived there was plenty of room and we were allowed to sit at a regular table, but we preferred to sit at the sunken seats and that was no problem. I can imagine that you have to queue at busier times. People do take their time to eat because it is not the kind of dishes that you can eat quickly. Savor and enjoy is the...
