Great pizza and vibes. As an Australian tourist, I wanted to give authentic NY pizza a try and was very happy to find out Gino’s opened up a branch in Haeundae. The pizza dough is made in house and stayed exceptionally crispy throughout the meal. You could theoretically buy it takeaway, bring it home and have an hour’s quarrel with your missus and THEN dig in, and still experience the textural sensation that is a crispy pizza base. Had a half Brooklyn special and half truffle shroom. Loved both, though the Brooklyn was more flavourful I enjoyed the truffle more. When we arrived, the staff initially told us we couldn’t bring our own alcohol, but then suddenly changed their mind and allowed it without ever mentioning there would be a very high serving fee involved. That lack of transparency felt completely unfair and misleading.On top of that, the staff were not customer-friendly at all. We’ve gotten take out and have dined in. Quick service and friendly staff. We’ve had the margherita, Hawaiian and the supreme (I forgot their name for it) pizzas.
