Amazing Bibimbap and Warm Hospitality

I had a wonderful experience dining here! The bibimbap was absolutely delicious—fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and beautifully presented. One of the highlights for me was how much effort the staff put into communicating in English. It made the experience even more welcoming and accessible as a non-Korean speaker.

A small note: if you’re interested in specific dishes, especially the fish or seafood options, make sure to arrive a bit earlier. Unfortunately, I was a little late and they were already preparing to close, so I missed out on trying the fish dishes. That said, the vegetarian option I ordered instead was still very satisfying.

The banchan (Korean side dishes) were another unexpected delight—flavorful, varied, and served generously. Every bite added something new to the meal.

Overall, the hospitality in Korea never ceases to impress me, and this restaurant was no exception. The staff were kind, attentive, and made me feel genuinely welcome. I’ll definitely be coming back—next...

While the food was very good, and the staff made an effort to describe what was served (even though they spoke no English and us no Korean) it all felt very rushed. We arrived a few minutes early and the first 5 courses (16 dishes) were served in less than 30 minutes. Many times the food was removed from serving plates and placed on to our plates so that they could remove the dish. They also did not offer us any alcohol and had to be asked to bring even water. If you do want to come (it's hard to get them on the phone and once again, they speak no English) make a reservation early, I would say 6 at the latest. Only rated so highly...

Splendid lunch. The place is kinda hard to find. It's on the second floor of the building, and you gotta really look for it.

Yeije serves traditional Korean meal, which comes in multiple courses. I got the basic option which was delicious. For roughly 19 USD they served such good food for lunch.
