Great first impressions, a nice and elegant lobby, modern room and good location. We then quickly realised there were quite a few areas below its 5-star status. First of all, this hotel has a huge problem with lifts, there is always a long wait and queueing is the norm for such a basic service. Secondly, Grand Busan appears to aim for the luxury market yet they have children invading all areas without any respect to other guests. We don’t have a problem with children but they should have allocated spaces and timings rather than being allowed to scream and play everywhere all-day long ruining the peace of other people. The noise of children was unbearable and the swimming pool was an area to avoid as toddlers were everywhere even inside the hot jacuzzi! There aren’t enough loungers in the pool area so good luck trying to find a seat. The pool also closed for an hour at midday, how odd, everyone leaving wet in the middle of the day! The room was ok but there were no bed side lamps which was very weird for a luxury hotel. You could hear noise from the street, other rooms and corridors that prevented from a good night sleep. Towels were cheap and worn more inline with a budget hotel. Well presented toiletries but content was of poor quality. Complimentary “minibar” is truly embarrassing, just water and a packet of crisps that is never replaced. We visited the lounge bar once and the service was mediocre even we were the only table at the time. We had to pour our own wine whilst staff were more interested in looking at their phones behind the counter. Live pianist was a nice touch though. Staff is well groomed but they avoid eye contact / engaging with guests but this maybe attributed to a language barrier. Zero management presence in the public areas. We don’t think we would return to Busan ever again but having had a good look around, Grand Josun (even with its issues) is probably the best choice for accommodation but do manage your expectations as it isn’t a truly...

Hands down the best staff ever!

1st off got in early and checkin wasn't until 3pm and I came in a few hours before checkout for the guests and I asked if there was a room available to check into because my daughter barely had sleep in the plane and her nap was cut short. I had 2 rooms reserved for that day and I know it's way too early to checkin so I informed concierge I was willing to pay an extra day so my daughter can rest. Lady in the front said not a problem, searched database and bam! Got me a room to check into early and she waved the fees! Much appreciated!

2nd: A few hours later I ordered food for delivery on an Korean app.. All seemed well with translation and order but waited downstairs for a bit bc the time slotted was 30min or so... After 30 minutes I got a noticifation on app that my food was delivered but it was nowhere to be found. Same front desk lady from the morning and asked if I needed help and I asked if food was delivered to them and there was none... Bottom line she went out of her way to read from the app, call the restaurant, find out what happened, got my delivery redelivered and wanted with me outside to make sure I got the delivery... She and staff was awesome and I appreciated their help.

3rd. Later that evening I repeat and order but different restaurant but this time I went downstairs right after ordering to make sure the mishap from earlier didn't happen..it didn't.. Time on app was longer and deliver was faster than the app BUT the same front desk person and valet person chatted with me to make sure I didn't have issues while I waited. Sorry, long review but bottom line; this was day one and the staff was very informative and very helpful. They spoke awesome English and I can't say how much I appreciated their help. 5 stars for the staff, rooms,...

I can't say that everything was perfect because usually it's not wherever I go; however, what this hotel staff did when I had any issue was above and beyond anything I've ever seen. When you approach this staff, you will get first class service. They will greet you at the front entrance, direct you to where you need to go and help you with your luggage. Not only that, it's what they were doing. I don't know if anyone else noticed them doing this, but they literally treated us like royalty. They took our bags all the way to our room and escorted us on the elevator. There were 6 guys. My wife and I had a problem with our room the first night. I called the front desk and told them, and they came to our room within minutes. Once I told the gentleman that came to our door about the problem, it's like an alarm went off. The hotel staff (I think the concierge at the time) upgraded our room to a premium one. It was so nice, that we didn't want to leave our room. Put on Netflix and literally chilled. ;) I won't go on and on about how many amazing things happened during our stay. But I will end with this, whenever you see someone "Jeol" the way they did to me and my wife with no eye contact, is absolute respect, politeness, gratitude and humility. This type of respect goes a long way with me. I know if I need something, they will get it for me. Guaranteed! We will go back...

A beautiful and well located hotel that offers a top-tier stay in Busan. The staff are exceptionally friendly and professional, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from check-in to check-out. The rooms are spotless, with comfortable beds and a quiet atmosphere, making for a restful stay. If you book an ocean view room, especially on a high floor, you’ll be treated to stunning views of the coastline. As expected from a five star hotel, the amenities are excellent, including a swimming pool, fitness center, and sauna. The lounge bar within the hotel is a great place to unwind with a drink. A minor detail to note, the hotel does not provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, or shaving kits, likely for ecological reasons. While this is understandable, alternative eco-friendly measures could be considered. Additionally, many families with children stay here. If you’re looking for an adults-only hotel, you may want to consider other options. That being said, this hotel remains one of the best choices in Busan for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

This beach hotel definitely put high end grandiness in their name. This five star rating hotel is one of the high end hotels situated in Busan along Haeundae beach. You can overlook the beauty of the beach either from your beach view room, gym or their open door Heavenly pool. This hotel vibe gives a natural vibe with golden green hue with plants around. The room is amazing with lots of complimentary mini bar snacks with sparkling water. Both the bedroom and bathroom are very spacious and in good condition. The hotel staff are very friendly and well versed in English. The hotel has many facilities with a sauna, jacuzzi pool, 24/7 sundry shop within the hotel, bakery, cafe, art gallery and there is a Starbucks outlet in the hotel as well. With all these high end services, pricing can be over to some people. The location is very good for the sea view but you need to walk around 15 minutes to the nearest public transport, it will be a hassle if it rains. Overall, I will definitely come back again.
