Todayâs journey took us to Haeundae Sky Capsule and the Ocean Train. After the ride, I felt quite hungry. I initially planned to grab a hot dog at one of the nearby food stalls, but then I caught a whiff of a delicious cake or buttery aroma. Following my nose, we discovered a charming shop that looked like a traditional Hanok (Korean house).
Once inside, I checked the menu and found that they only sold one type of bread, which resembled a regular bun. You had to buy four for 12,000 won. Despite my initial hesitation, I couldn't resist the enticing smell, so I decided to give it a try. Even if it turned out to be a rip-off, I was too hungry to care.
When I returned and took a good look at the bread, it appeared rather ordinary. However, the moment I took a bite, I was blown away! The buttery flavor was incredible, far surpassing that of a typical croissant, and the texture was incredibly flaky. It was like a croissant in the shape of a regular bun. The combination of the rich butter flavor and a hint of sea salt was simply divine.
This bakery was so delicious that I made a point to return for another batch before leaving Busan. I highly recommend trying it if youâre...

The traverler logic kicked in, a cue must equal good right? This buttery delight will knock your taste buds into a heavenly stratousphere , im that confident go try it!
And the space itself is so traquil, relaxing and wholesome you feel transported from a bustling city to a rural bakery effortlessly. I wanted to just sit for hours on end, but we had other things planned.
My only warning is this is high on the salt consentration, i had two and i could feel the mouth ulcers beginning to form, so dont overdo it, enjoy it as it is intended, one and done. And if you can get your fav beverage to couple along with it, you will be on the...
Read moreMUST TRY â€ïž This cafe/bakery sells only one baked item - salted butter buns which go for W12,000 for a bag of 4. They are so yummy, fluffy and deliciously buttery that we finished the whole bag between both of us within minutes! At a smaller counter next to the bakery counter you can buy drinks (only 3 choices Americano, Cafe Latte or Pear & Quince Tea - either hot or iced for any option). Wonderful place to sit in the shade of an (artificial!!) tree that looks super real, and watch Busan go by while enjoying a drink and the most exquisite buns. We're so happy we stopped by out of curiosity - what a treat!!
Update: went back for a quick breakfast of buns and iced coffee, iced tea again, and happily reconfirming the buns are truly oh-so-good!!! Simple deliciousness...
