Ollae Guksu — Restaurant in Jeju

Nothing amazing but i guess it gave a taste of home cook feel & taste. It warms up your stomach on a cold day. Great option for breakfast.

Pretty straight forward here Walk into the shop, turn right and approach the person sitting at the counter and he'll give you a slip of paper stating the queue number and estimated time of your turn. Head out to the shop to queue(aka wait for your number to be called) Sit down and noodle will be served to you. Nothing to choose here as there's only 1 item on the menu.

Place was originally at 261-16, Yeon-dong but has since shifted to current location at 24 Gwiarang-gil, Yeon-dong. The previous site has now been torn down and is under construction.

Read reviews online that they used to serve tons of dishes like hotpot, but now that they've moved, they only serve 1 dish - Pork Noodle Soup, which was pretty good. Costs about ₩3,800 if I recall.

I was worried when I have decided to visit this restaurant as I am very senstive to the taste of pork if it is not well handled. But it turned out to be an awesome choice !!

Very flavourful and hearty pork soup to start my day. It is even better when paired with the special samjang served as the side dish. The pork is tender and soft. Besides then the unfriendly staff, the other drawback of this restaurant is that each patron have to order a bowl.noodle soup. No sharing is allowed.
