Jeju Sun Hotel&Casino — Hotel in Jeju

My family and I enjoyed a five night stay at Jeju Sun Hotel and Casino and loved our experience there. The staff were so warm and welcoming each time we arrived back at the hotel from an excursion. Special shout out to Ahn Tae Young who went out of his way to help our family find a delicious naengmyeon (cold noodle) restaurant!||The location of the hotel is conveniently located to bustling shops and restaurants all within walking distance. There is nearby bank where you can convert your currency. There was even a nearby park that held a free concert featuring young Korean artists on a Friday night.| |The hotel boasts a beautiful, bright and open lobby area which lifts your spirits after a long day of sightseeing. If you view other nearby hotel lobbies on the same street, they are rather bleak and bare. There’s really no comparison to Jeju Sun’s lobby and reception area.||To the right of the lobby, you will find the Garden Buffet which served the most delicious breakfast buffet offering both Western style breakfast (eggs, sausage, bacon) and Korean cuisine. The freshness, quality and presentation of the food shows how much effort the chefs and staff put into the food. There was a green fruit compete dressing that I couldn’t get enough of; I wish I could get the recipe to make at home. ||Our room consisted of a spacious two bedroom, two bathroom suite that fit five people. After five days in cramped hotel rooms in Tokyo and Osaka, our room at Jeju Sun provided room to breathe. It was clean and comfortable and great for spending time together.||One recommendation I would make is for the hotel to offer beach towels for guests who plan to visit Jeju’s beautiful beaches. Great hotel with excellent service. We stayed 5 nights. The staff are all very courteous and helpful from the moment we arrived until our departure. On arrival at the hotel, Mr Anh at the concierge helped us with our luggage and brought us to our room located at Level 5 and asked are we happy with the room. Before l could reply, he must have saw my facial expression exchanged with my husband and asked me to wait as he will go change the room. I went along with him and his wonderful colleague Ying at the reception helped to search for another room. She found a room on Level 9 with mountain view for us. Nice, clean, warm and cosy room. As it winter, the heaters are on. I mentioned that the room is stuffy and Mr Anh immediately said he will bring a fan for us which was very nice and kind of him. In the evening we could have the fan on for air circulation. We could open the window but the cold air will cause dampness inside the room. Another person that we must mention is their restaurant Manager Mr Cho Jin Bae, he is the most courteous and attentive person. His eager eyes spot guests who did not wear mask and politely reminded them to wear and always starting and ending with a bow. During breakfast, as soon as we finished our juice or drinks, he will walked over immediately offering to get us another glass or cup. His polite, courteous and attentiveness starts our day well. My stay at the Jeju Sun Hotel & Casino was absolutely fantastic. For over ten days this summer, it truly felt like a home away from home, and I couldn't be happier with my experience.||The staff are the heart of this hotel. Their kindness and warmth were truly exceptional, and they consistently went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. It's the little things that make the biggest difference—the surprise fruit gift, the friendly greetings, and the genuine care that created a personal and memorable stay. I'm so grateful for their hospitality.||Beyond the wonderful staff, the hotel's facilities are top-notch. The breakfast was a highlight every morning, offering a delicious variety that was a perfect start to the day. The gym and sauna were also excellent, well-maintained, and a great way to relax and recharge. The general environment of the hotel is clean and inviting, and every small detail contributes to a feeling of comfort and ease.||It's rare to find a place that excels in both grand amenities and small, personal touches.
