Amazing dining experiences. The food was delicious and plentiful, the chef was really friendly and the price was really good (just 48k won for 4 people!).

There is no menu; Instead the chef will serve their specialities for the day — home-style. See my photos for the dishes they served when I was there. (Kimchi pancake at 1 o’clock position; steamed egg at 3 o’clock position; mackerel wrapped in kimchi at 5 o’clock position; bean paste soup at 9 o’clock position; black pork in spicy sauce in the centre; the rest are side dishes that are equally tasty)

Amazingly tasty. I would say it’s the best restaurant I’ve been to in jeju/busan thus far.

Also, the chef could speak English fluently, so don’t be afraid if you can’t speak Korean! 10/10 would recommend especially if you are...

My wife and I had eaten at over 45 restaurants before having the pleasure of eating at Soban during our 3 week adventure in South Korea. This was by far one of the best restaurants we ate at.

The lovely owner (who spoke excellent English) welcomed us in to the restaurant and explained what dishes were available whilst providing chilled buckwheat tea which was excellent.

The food was absolutely delicious and you could taste the love the family poured in to every dish.

We honestly could not recommend this place enough.

There is also free parking 2 minutes up the road from the shop and is 5 mins drive or 30 mins walk from Jeongbang Waterfall.

Was recommended to come to this place by our guesthouse host and it does not disappoint. The restaurant owners are friendly and speaks a bit of English. The menu is simple, a set dinner for 2/3/4 pax depending on how many people you have. In just 5 minutes, your side dishes will start arriving and before you know it, your whole table is filled.
