88burger — Restaurant in Seogwipo-si

There were 3 of us, and we ordered 1- 88 burger and two American cheese burgers. We add extra tomato, egg and lettuce on the American cheese burgers because they didn't come with salad. The tomato and egg weren't a problem, but they couldn't put lettuce on them. When we asked why, the response was that "we don't."

When burgers arrived, they were nice, but mine didn't have tomato, and when checking the other, it had 1 single slice, a bite rich considering it cost ₩1,000.

When we pointed this out to the waiter, she was rude and argued the point until she realized one burger was missing tomato!!

Visited this place as it had many reviews. Although the food lived up to the good reviews, the service was not up to the mark. The staff was not as pleasant as what we encountered at other places in Jeju. Right at the start, we were told to keep our water bottles in our bags saying it looked trashy to leave them on the table. (?!) We had barely sat down when the male staff person told us to ask our kid to keep his voice down. This was literally a few mins into our visit ! This was really ironic as the music in the background was very loud! Although the food was good, we don't think we will be visiting again. As the restaurant tagline says...

Went here the first time in 2022 with my family visiting from the US, now returned with my best buddy 3 years later. In 2022, my American family called this the best burger they ever had, and now 3 years later my best buddy and I were amazed again. We ordered the signature burger (88 burger - black pork patty) and added pineapple and fried egg, respectively.
