Oneunjeong Gimbap — Restaurant in Seogwipo-si

First time I was here during dragon week, We walked in wanting to order at 9am for a hallasan hike but the pick up time they had was 4pm.. didn’t get to try it.

This time we had a korean friend along and ordered through the phone and got all 7 flavors. Took endless attempts to get through the line.. First bite was kinda interesting. There’s like tempura crumbs or some kind of crispy crumps in the rice. But otherwise just tasted like 김밥.

But nothing really life changing to have to attempt to call the place 30 times in order to get through an order at 12pm for collection at 5pm.. and it’s also a take...

Don't try to make a reservation over the phone. They don't answer the phone on purpose. On purpose! If there are no customers waiting in line at the store, they will barely answer the phone. This is consumer deception. Rather, it would be understandable if they forced me to book a visit reservation. They waste our time and cell phone batteries to gain fame. Does this make sense in the world these days? The taste of gimbap is not bad. But I won't visit...

We were one of the 1st customers since hotel was just a few steps away. Ordered everything except tuna. Everyone in the family thought the other gimbal stall was a tat better. The reasons:

1. oneunjeong gimbap had a crunch in all their gimbap. I think this is one their 'secret sauce'
2. the taste is largely similar for all 3 gimbap.
