I went here for my birthday dinner for the sole reason that I had a voucher to use and this was one of the few places that was taking reservations on the day in question as I booked fairly late. However, I quite regretted it.
We ordered calamari, lobster and chicken ravioli, lamb galbi, and a side of asparagus. Up until the bread, it was going okay. The calamari was okay, the tartar sauce they provided was quite good and they supplied a lot of it. However everything else seemed to be done without any care. For example, the plating just was depressing and it looked carelessly tossed on the plate. We ordered medium rare lamb which came out closer to raw, and I think the cut was a bit different than other restaurants I've been to because it seemed far too fatty. Everything was just totally uninspired, and the asparagus was undercooked and mediocre. Worst was the lobster ravioli - it was just a few pieces of dry lobster tossed in amongst 8 pieces of ravioli that presumably had chicken in it - it wasn't really even warm, and it was incredibly bland. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the food because I didn't want to remember it.
Although we used a voucher, I still felt ripped off. The lobster ravioli for example was 52,000 won. They have no right to charge that amount for what you get. I did order a bottle of riesling for 120,000 won or so.
Atmosphere is okay, not bad. The service itself was pretty good overall. The server was polite and asked us about any dietary restrictions which I really appreciated, as that is not that common. We didn't really have any restrictions. She also refilled our wine glasses liberally. I was curious about the desserts as I wondered how they could be similarly disappointing, but didn't get a chance to try. They closed up at 9 which felt...
