Baekkop House COEX — Restaurant in Seoul

Pretty good KBBQ restaurant Seoul that’s on the movie theater side of the COEX mall and close to Intercontinental COEX hotel. Instead of going out, we decided to fine a BBQ restaurant in the COEX mall since it was around 6 degrees outside and it snowed the day before. After passing by their sign the precious day, checked out their reviews and photos so I suggested we try it out to my friend before watching Aquaman at Megabox. We ordered 특) 배꼽 스페셜 and 후식냉면. While the galbi itself was undeniably delicious and the sides complemented it well, the lack of marinade left the meat a tad bland and overly sweet. But the most significant letdown was the service. Our waitress's forgetfulness about turning on the grill significantly impacted our dining experience. Even after requesting assistance, it took a considerable amount of time to address the issue. Restaurant was clean, roomy, and bright. Staffs were friendly.

Side dishes were typically tasty but slightly salty. For the main dish, Yang-Gomtang I ordered was not bad but there were no much ingredients inside of soup and not worth of paying for.

Yang-Gomtang.. A quantity of ingredients inside of soup was so little. It’s better to look for alternate restaurants if having Yang-Gomtang is your plan today.
