Meal budget per person (without drinks) Category 2 (under 120000 KRW, 100 USD)
Personally, I tend to trust SG Dinehill's standards of taste and visit.
Bread & Butter: Fresh and nutty. French Onion Soup: It is tasty with the appropriate amount cheese and flavor. Lobster Ceviche: Refreshing lemon mango scent is good but the lobster is rather tough. Butcher’s Cut Sampler (Prime Rib Eye, Tenderloin, New York Strip – medium): Tenderloin is tender and juicy. Others, so so. - They do not fully meet my expectation, it is probably because of my personal expectations on the restaurant with the review of high praise from a renowned gourmet. Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich: It's not particularly delicious. Even my children (real meat and bread lovers) do not eat them all. Mac & Cheese: coming to such a good restaurant, we eat them all.
Staffs are kind, attentive and professional. There is no room, so it seems to be not appropriate for private dining. The location is very good at the Donsan Street and valet parking is available for...
Read moreWent for daughter’s birthday. Went early 5:15. First, server was bit inattentive. Didn’t think much until he said t-bone and one pasta was unavailable because sold out(?) - problem was that he was very unfriendly as he told us. Fine. Now waiting for him to come take order, 10 mins passed and he did NOT come. No one paying attention, so finally called a junior server as she passed by, and she took our order. Porterhouse was good, but creamed spinach and mac&cheese was dry and over cooked - cheese all hard. Not what we expected. Wanted dessert but again for ice cream topping, no vanilla no strawberry only chocolate left. Server’s tone was condescending! I don’t know why we were treated this way. We spent over 280,000 won for this meal, yet left with bad feelings and bad taste. And the lady (manager?) at front completely ignore me as I asked her why service is so poor. I don’t know what their problem was, but I will...
Read moreIt is one of the better steak restaurants in Seoul for sure. We had a lunch and ordered several dishes including one T-bone steak and 1 Korean beef steak on brunch menu. The brunch steak was of course wasn't as great as the premium one. Perhaps it was good for the price; 1/5 of the premium one. However not sure if I want to pay 190,000KRW for the premium steak.
The other dishes were above and below the average, again considering only the price. Yet if you consider the location and service, I think it may be okay.
The staff were all very kind and immediately in service upon request.
Good place for a family/friends gathering as the venue is two-stories,...
