At first I wanted to give a 3 star review because I’m not sure if I’m scammed or what but after reading their reviews, I’m sure this hanbok shop is unethical.
Their banner downstairs showed 20,000 for 2 hours but somehow we needed up paying 75,000 for 2 hours rental (one hanbok and one men’s)
Their workmanship ain’t good at all and the quality of the inner wear (that’s supposed to keep the hanbok in shape) kept coming off and I stepped on it many times, sometimes you can even see the white lining when looking at me. Had to stop multiple times to re-pin and can another aunties from other hanbok shop were so nice they came out to lend me safety pins.
Also realised the inner wear was no longer tight/elasticity in the elastic band was gone hence kept slipping down my hanbok.
Even the guy’s hanbok didn’t look expensive and we saw many others with better designs; made us wonder how come ours was so expensive.
Not a very good experience especially knowing that I paid twice the market price. While walking i saw many shops and spoke with others who rent theirs at 20,000 won.
Highly not...
Read moreThis was a wonderful store: we used the Anguk branch and came in early as they were opening. So we had a helpful assistant to help us choose the hanbok and its accessories. The handbags and accessories were really cute and there’s a TON to choose from. It may be best to wear pants underneath that are comfortable to walk and you can wear comfortable shoes perhaps that will match the hanbok. Also advisable not to wear heavy perfume, in order to preserve the appearance of the hanbok. It’s helpful to wear a sleeveless undershirt.
The owner is very responsive on LINE. I made an appointment there just so they knew I was coming. They were very friendly and helpful. You can pay cash or card there and return the hanbok according to the time attached to the rental.

Read moreHad the BEST experience with hanbok☺️ Great activity for both tourists and natives to do with friends, family, or even by yourself! The variety of hanbok available to choose from is mind blowing and not only is the material amazing, comfortable and beautiful, but it's also cooling and therefore enjoyable even during the hot and humid Korean summer season. (It was over 30°C) The service was also amazing -- you get to get your hair styled and dazzled and you can borrow a small handbag with traditional Korean print for your belongings :)) Overall great experience, would recommend and would...
