💬 Comments This is a very famous restaurant for a boiled Oxtail(꼬리수육) cuisine. It has appeared on many TV shows and is very well known restaurant through SNS. Therefore, You might have to wait if you visit this restaurant during rush time. You can enjoy the boiled Oxtail cuisine with a special sauce full of chives. You will experience a very special taste that is sour and sweet and stimulate your appetite.The highlight of this restaurant is the noodles which is mixed with a special sauce. They serve a 설렁탕sullungtang(Oxbone soup) for free!

Potentially the best oxtail place in 영등포 area. Steamed oxtail marinated in soy sauce and chives, 꼬리찜 is the representative dish here. Right, we're here for the meat, not the soup. The price gap between 꼬리탕 is not that much, so do not save the money here. It may seem pricey for the volume, but worth for the taste and texture. You'll forget the side dishes and drinks beside as soon as you start picking up the tail meat which is so tender and juicy.

If you care hygiene, convenient table layout and decent services, this place is not for you and you better move on to 여의도 or 선유도. But if you can compromise a bit, visiting this place will be fun.

Expect queue in Saturday afternoons (15 ~ 30 mins). You need to stand in line right in front of the door where there is no AC or fan turned on. There is no "Kakao messaging" kiosk or even a note to make your listed. It is such an old place.

모든 상가가 셔터를 내린 어둑한 영등포 기계 공구상가. 사람도 자동차도 없는 조용한 길에 우리가 탄 택시와 마주 오는 택시만 움직이고 있었다. 내비게이션의 안내대로 좌회전을 하려는데 지나가는 줄 알았던 맞은편 택시가 길을 막았다. 기사는 그렇게 차를 두고 내리더니 어둠 속으로 빠르게 사라졌다. 가려던 식당은 코앞인데, 차를 돌려가기도 뭐 해서 그 자리에 내렸다. 걷다 보니 차를 두고 갑자기 사라진 기사의 뒷모습이 보인다. 구석에 몸을 숨기고 소변을 보고 있다. 어지간히 급했나 보다. 길 가운데에 아무렇게나 차를 두고 노상방뇨를 할 만큼 휴일의 상가 도로는 고요했다.

건설, 기계공구, 측량기, 유압기 등의 단어가 적힌 불 꺼진 간판들 사이로 대한옥의 푸른색 간판이 홀로 불을 밝히고 있다. 적막한 바깥 분위기와 다르게 식당 안에는 사람들이 가득했다. 기계, 공구로 가득한 차가운 동네에 온기가 느껴지는 작은 점. 시작은 주변 상인들을 상대로 한 설렁탕과 안주를 파는 식당이었겠지. 1970년에 문을 열었다는 이 집은 이제 레트로 바람을 타고 '힙' 하다는 유명 노포 중 하나가 됐다. 2, 3차를 갈 수 있게 주변 상권이 형성되어 있지 않은 외진 곳이지만 손님들의 얼굴은 대부분 20~30대로 보였다. 공구 상가 사이에 홀로 자리 잡은 오래된 식당이라는 것이 더 매력적인 것 같다. 젊은 연인에서 수십 년 이 집을 드나들었을 아저씨들까지, 휴일의 저녁을...
