Cute set-up and excellent pastries badly let down by the service. Because the place was sparsely peopled, we walked in, grabbed our snacks of choice, then proceeded to the counter where our orders for drinks and yoghurt were promptly accepted... only to be turned down because our queue number - which you're supposed to obtain from the digital screen beside the front door - had not yet been called. We were told to wait outside in the morning heat, which we complied with.
Fast forward fifteen minutes and we were able to repeat the process, this time without issue. Payment made and tray of goodies deposited at the cashier, we headed upstairs per the staff's instructions to grab our seats on the second floor. Turns out the upstairs floor was even emptier than downstairs, with only a few tables occupied. What was the point of waiting outside?
Worse yet, we had to wait over half an hour to collect our drinks, only to find out that they'd mixed up our orders, with some of the pastries we'd chosen and paid for missing. Since none of it was heated, I have no idea why they didn't just let us take our tray with us. The staff were clearly incompetent. It wasn't like they had much to do in the first place, given the self-service required of customers, to say nothing of the diminutive size of the clientele at that hour.

Just be aware that there will most likely be a long wait time as the cafe is definitely very popular (we had to wait for about 30 minutes at 3pm). Also, if there is a queue, you have to scan a QR code and sign up to a website to add yourself to the long waitlist. The cafe has seating both inside and also on the terrace. We chose to queue for a table on the terrace as the wait line was shorter than inside the cafe. The terrace is quite nice - it has heating lamps so will be warm in winter, however, is not very accessible to wheelchair disabilities as there are steep steps to walk up to reach the top. You have to use tongs to select your pastries and if you order a drink, they will provide you with a buzzer in which when the drinks are ready, you go up to the counter and collect your pastries and drinks. Afterwards, you are expected to return the tray to the counter. All the food we ordered were quite nice - deep chocolate salt bread, garlic and cheese salt bread, dried persimmon cannele and a sweet potato madeleine. The food is definitely very Instagram worthy and especially with the backdrop of the aesthetically pleasing cafe, this cafe is definitely...
