It is one of the most popular places for traditional Pyongyang cold noodles. However, its quality didn't match its reputation. The buckwheat ratio in the noodles was relatively low compared to other pricy places, and the noodles were quite chewy. (I heard another guest had to ask for scissors to cut it.) The soup was thoroughly meaty and salty without a strong scent of kimchi, which was just fine.
One mistake that I made was ordering dumplings. Not that they were not tasty, instead they were enjoyable. But, at first bite, I realized the dumpling's meaty flavor mixed with white pepper is too overwhelming to go along with the cold noodle. I had to put them aside until I finished eating the light-flavored cold noodles and soup.
After all, the price tags were comparable to what I used to pay for a full-blown pork belly BBQ meal, including alcohol. Considering everything, I may have to choose other casual places for the...

Came here on a whim while looking for a decent bbq place in the neighborhood. The atmosphere was slightly more upscale than typical bbq places in Seoul, and we liked that the meats came cooked on a sizzling plate. We got the pork galbi with some soups and noodles, but the galbi sauce on the pork was a bit too sweet for my taste. On the other hand, the spicy beef tripe soup and the cold noodles were quite good. Not only was the soup flavorful, but the assorted meats inside were nice and tender.
Overall, a decent bbq experience, but I would recommend just getting their regular...

Definitely one of the best Bulgolgiโs Iโve ever ever had. Meat was perfectly tenderised. just enough sweetness without being a dessert.
