Ediya coffee — Restaurant in Seoul

I wish I could give 0 stars for customer service because I've never experienced anything like this and I wonder if it's due to racism or if the staff were just unkind. I stopped by here because I wanted to get myself a Matcha latte. Thats my standard go to drink. I know that here in Korea allot of the coffeeshops have their matcha tea powder mixed with sugar so I always ask to make sure if that's the case when I enter a coffeeshop I haven't preciously been to. So that's what I asked. Is your matcha tea powder mixed with sugar? The girl that took my order said it's not, so I proceeded with my order. When I got my drink I sipped it and found out it was sugary after all, so I told them in a non bothered tone of voice that It's sugary and that I previously got confirmed it wouldn't be. I said I'd like to change my order to a regular latte since I can't have sugar. She proceeded to tap it into the system and then asked me to pay again. I said that I already paid for the previous drink and that It wasn't my mistake. I said that that was exactly the reason why I asked in the first place. She told me she won't make me another drink. I tried to plead with her but she said it's not her fault so she won't make me a new drink if I don't pay. Then her coworker (an older coworker who was the one that made the matcha latte) joined the conversation and I explained the situation to her hoping she would understand, but instead she sided with the girl who took my order and told me that I am lying. She said that I didn't ask if the matcha powder was mixed with sugar, but that I asked if there was syrup inside the drink. They just wanted me to be wrong. I know what I asked because I've asked this same question so many times at different coffeeshops. So after calmly pleading with them for a few minutes and them not budging I gave up and gave them the finger due to being so frustrated. Ofcourse leaving the matcha tea latte since I won't drink it. Money wasted for nothing (also my last money I had on pocket). I didn't think that anything about this interaction was respectful towards a paying customer and human to human. Also, I never write reviews but this was just disheartening.
