Korea is a coffee nation filled with cafes on almost every street in Seoul (and the country) are highly obsessed with coffee. As a result, cafe owners put a lot of effort into making their shops attractive. This cafe is no exception.

Folki would rank in the top 5 of cafes I visited on my recent trip to Seoul. Looking from the outside, it doesn't appear to be anything spectacular but it's actually a preserved hanok style shop.

Inside white and wood interior designsare presented in a minimalistic but warm and homely way, creating a peaceful atmosphere to the space.

We enjoyed the preserved old hanok structure and how the cafe winds around to every room and space.

Coffee wise, there is a good selection on the menu and their signature Folki latte hit the spot with a eclectic mix of espresso, cream, and what I can only describe as a soft marshmellow cloud.

This is a cafe where you relax and rejuvenate from the bustle of Seoul and I would fully recommend it those who enjoy a mix of the old and the new.

Folki also run a leather works shop which is right next door and you are able to take classes there if that's your thing.

Definitely...

"Oh, boy! Let me tell you about this enchanting cafรฉ I stumbled upon. It's like a fairytale come to life, with its beautiful exterior that could easily grace the cover of a coffee-themed magazine. It's so pretty, I almost wanted to hug the building!

And let's talk about their signature coffee โ€“ it's sweeter than a love letter written in sugar! I took a sip and instantly felt like I was floating on a cloud made of caramel. It was like happiness in a cup, served with a side of caffeine dream.

From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with an aroma that can make even a grumpy cat do a little dance. The friendly baristas don't just make coffee; they create liquid works of art that bring joy to your taste buds.

I must warn you, though: if you're planning on visiting this cafรฉ, prepare to fall head over heels in love. It's the kind of place that makes you want to move in and live happily ever after. So, put on your caffeine-loving shoes and get ready for a fairytale coffee...

GORGEOUS cafe, incredible vibes! Obsessed with their signature latte and it was our gateway to every sort of cream latte Seoul had to offer. Amazing playlist, friendly staff and beautiful decor. I loved the contrast of the hanok against a mid-century modern interior and the juxtaposition of the incredibly bright conservatory with the dark and moody nooks of the cafe.

Deffo my fave cafe that I visited this trip which says a lot since there are just SO many...
