The more popular hanbok rentals near the palace were so busy and full of people. We chose this place because it was nearby and not that many people and they had a good selection of hanboks. We did not make any pre reservation. Just literally walked in the shop. The service was efficient. I immediately chose my skirt and the lady found my top. Process took 5 minutes and I had changed into my dress. My hanbok was so pretty and was so new with no tears. Prices were reasonable 2 hours for 35 000 won. I had to wait about 5 to 10 mins for the customers before us for hair styling. It took about 5 mins to tie my hair. The lady styled my hair very well too with nice accessories. I also had a complimentary bag. I got the furry cape as well highly recommend as it gets cold while walking around the palace ( extra cost of 7000 won). U get to keep your own bag and jacket in a locker, provided, and use their traditional purse to store your phone and lip balm etc.

I would recommend doing your own make-up first, if in winter probably wear a light coloured thermal innerwear mine was black and kinda showed through the sleeves. I had such an amazing time pretending to be a princess in a korean drama walking around the palace with my emperor husband lol. Overall I would highly recommend this place. Good reasonable price compared to other places. The good thing about this place is they have more variety of big/large/plus sizes. Also they have more plan designs.

I love the staffs because they take care of you. I wasn't sure of the costume I would wear and the man recommended me the kings guard costume. And I tell you people who saw me complimented me, and many thought I was even a real guard who worked there.

They also gave us a complimentary hair braiding even though they do charge for doing so. They have men's hat, they also do the shoes, they have accessories like bags, head band etc.

There is I think only 2/3 changing room which is just the problem, you need to wait for one to finish changing before you can go in, water is also provided.

The service and quality of hanbok at this store are AMAZING! It was so hard to do hanbok rental with a 1.5 yo toddler as many stores are packed with tourists and it’s just chaos. We had a photographer booked and we were so rushed to make it on time. The lady at this store literally pulled it together for us with hanboks (and hair for me) within 30min. She did a great job with my hair. My son had the cutest outfit it was just sooo adorable. The hanboks here are of superior quality to other more touristy stores I noticed.
