Staff Picks — Restaurant in Seoul

I visited Staff Picks Cafe on November 2, 2023, with high expectations. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by unfriendly service. It seemed as though the staff's attitude soured when they heard us speaking English and asking questions about the menu.

When I inquired about special drinks and sought recommendations, the staff curtly responded, 'Two people? Order just one drink?' My friend also shared the disappointment with that attitude because she was just waiting to order right after me as we wanted separated bills. This interaction left us feeling unwelcome and deflated.

What a lovely place! Totally instagramable. Lovely place to relax and talk or read. Now these are the places you want to visit on your Korea trip. Brick exterior, feels like you’re going into someone’s house with a big yard. Very comfy and with plenty of tables outside. You also get a view of Seoul, it’s a perfect place for sunset! Coffee is good, pound cake is great! We got there shortly after they opened(10am) on a weekday but several orders were already ahead of us. We waited about 30 minutes, which was okay since we weren't in a hurry, but i wouldn't want to come at any other hours.
