Gourmet Sushi — Restaurant in Seoul

Sushi was nice, but I have mixed feelings regarding the service. First, no one really led to me to the seat so I was confused. (thank God my company had arrived earlier than me) Also, though the chef seems to name and explain each sushi pieces, he didn’t really help out whenever we forgot the names, or what was left remaining in regards of the course. In other words, he seemed fairly indifferent and nonchalant towards customers except when he was handing out each pieces. Third, I strictly said I don’t like a certain type of fish, but he gave me one anyway, which I didn’t eat, ofc, but the chef was just staring at my company taking the piece away from me. He didn’t apologize or say anything to me, which I found very rude. Lastly, he smelt of smoke and cigarettes in between the servings. I wish he had waited till our meal was over. Also, the place is in the middle of a very weird part of street/building… so from the beginning I had an ominous feeling, and it turned out to be so-so. So, great food, but lack of service (in terms of price) had left me out with a negative feeling.

all time favorite sushi omakase restaurant. this place is my all time favorite. Lunch course is half the price of dinner, so if youre looking for something not too pricey make sure to visit during lunch. also pre reservation is a must. the place has limited seating as they have seats only...

The pictures talk by themselves, whitout reservation you won't be able to have dinner. The quality and treatment is just of top class worldwide. An hidden pearl in Gangnam that I shall never...
