Hollys Coffee Itaewon — Restaurant in Seoul

Rude barista... I will NOT be returning! I went to Holly's in Itaewon today with friends and ordered a drink (strawberry cheesecake frozen mixed drink). I was waiting, as everyone was, for my drink to be made and number to be called. My Korean is limited, so when I heard the barista call out a number and place a drink I thought was mine on the counter, I approached with my receipt in hand to double check. Immediately he started saying "no, no,no ,no", so I backed away, assuming it was not my drink. My friends drinks came up and they went to find seats, and I was left standing there waiting for my drink. After about 5 minutes, the barista bruskly asked me what my number was. I presented my receipt, and he pointed at the drink sitting on the counter, turning around to finish another drink. I asked why he told me "no, no, no, no" when I asked him the first time... but he just rolled his eyes and ignored me. So, I left my drink on the counter and walked out. During my short stay in Seoul, I enjoyed this cafe so much that I came here two days in a row. It’s located right next to the massive Starbucks on the corner of the street. If I had to choose between the two, I’d go for this one as it felt more Korean than the said American chain. The food was great, especially their bulgogi Quesadilla. The cold brew really hit home and put any coffee you would get in Hong Kong to shame. I guarantee you that. And it wasn’t too expensive. Next time if I’m in Korea, this would be my go to spot. Well the coffee is overly bitter and the tea is a bit tasteless but... the service (from school kids) is friendly and efficient and the building is great for working on a laptop or hanging out at any time for meetings (work or play). It's super easy to find in Itaewon right next to the subway and it has good views over the street.
