JR Pub — Restaurant in Seoul

This place gave me strong American vibes, so I would recommend it for American travelers who want a taste of home while in Korea. The inside has billiards tables and a full bar. The staff spoke English, and the menu is available in English. The menu has food you would find in a typical American bar (burgers, fries, pizza, chicken strips), however it was so delicious! I had a cheeseburger and the group I was with shared a pizza and some chicken strips! Everything was so flavorful (the fries were seasoned perfectly). While I was trying to seek out authentic Korean food most of the time I was in Korea, this place was a wonderful "taste of America" in Itaewon....

Love this place. It has managed to avoid being 'Koreanized', so it still serves typical Western style pub food. Fish and chips are excellent. Beer selection is good. Atmosphere is a good mix of foreign and Korean patrons. Staff are well trained and good at their jobs. Food comes quickly, and unlike places that have been 'Koreanized', the staff here actually pay attention, and you don't have to shout at them when you need service. They have a new sign outfront. Its black with the name on it. I live this place because they have a good project screen to play the music videos. Good space inside and a pool table with darts in the back. Theres a female bartender here that was kind ignoring some of us when we were trying to order but I will let that go since the burger and fries were goo. Lil pricey but good.
