Hwangsan Shabu Shabu — Restaurant in Seoul

Sopped here just because rain was pouring outside. Ordered hot pot with meat and seafood. We were not expecting much about this place, but came out that the food was A-maxing! The served the hot pot with lots of vegetables. The broth in hot pot was half spicy and half kind of blend, but good blend. Meat was good too. The servers kind of very rushy.. But we don’t speak in Korean and they very nice, probably were trying their best to serve us) the restaurant looks very simple inside. Lots of local come here. This is when we know that the food is good, when many locals in the restaurant))) So, I totally recommend this hot...

Food was okay but the ladies were nice. They gave us some fried fish for free. There was a bug in our tea when my friend poured it and neither of us realized it until after we drank 😬 The ahjummas who worked there didn’t seem to notice (nor did we say something). It’s common to see some small gnats flying around restaurants in Korea as they often keep the doors/ windows wide open. 너무 유명해진 황산샤브샤브 종업원 이모님이 매우 친절하시고 준비해주신 재료들도 아주 신선했습니다. 바쁜집 답게 재료나 상차림 기본세팅을 미리 준비하셔서 일일이 래핑해놓고 계시더라구요 계속 돌아다니시며 부족한건 없는지 챙겨주시고 비오는 일요일이라 유독 손님이 없었는데 서비스로 이것저것 챙겨주시고 세심하게 살펴주셔서 너무 감사했어요.

홍탕이 옛날과 맛이 다르다하여 여쭤보니 한국분들이 많이 매워해서 향신료를 많이 뺐다고 하십니다

맵게 해달라고하면 마라 소스 더 넣어서 맵기 정도를 조절해주시니 본토의 맛을 원하시는 분들은 꼭 말하시는게 좋을듯합니다.

이제는 제법 비싸진 가격 1인 2만원이지만 위생측면에서도 믿을 수 있고 맛도 있어 왠만한 화교 훠궈집보다 만족도가 높습니다. 너무 자극적이지도 않고 훠궈로 명성이 오래된 집 답게 홍탕 백탕도 다른 집과 조금은 다르면서 맛있습니다.

제가 먹는 양이 적지 않은데 양도 아주 충분하게 나옵니다 다른 샤브샤브나 훠궈집이랑 메뉴판에 표기된 고기 그람수는 비슷했는데 그 동안 다른집들이...
