Pretty decent tea place and the staff seem well trained to prepare the first pour. The methods vary between teas.
Would recommend the korean yellow tea (hwang cha). It had a good body and aroma with an almost sweet finish. Really enjoyed it.
Tried their aged puher (from 2004) as well but I gotta admit it was a little different from what im used to. It was definitely charcoal roasted during the tea preperation process but the smoky flavor got a little strong. Something like whisky in a burnt oak barrel. It was definitely odd. However, it was still a very smooth drink! Indicative of the aging length. (Okay, i'm coming back to edit this. My 3rd and 4th pours of this were VERY good. Just shows how the tea flavor evolves over time.)
Their tea wares are very very nice by the way. Reasomably good quality stuff. Would I return? Definitely.

We first looked at the menu, which was detailed with explanations on the benefits of each teaโa really helpful touch. The tea selection was beautifully displayed with jars to smell the fragrances, and itโs clear that they take their tea very seriously. The place is also English-friendly, which made it easy for us to engage with the lovely owner. She was very knowledgeable about tea and taught us how to pour it, the optimal brewing times, and the best way to enjoy each cup. We tried the peppermint, the first pluck Korean green tea, and also bought both along with the yuzu leaf tea. While the prices are on the higher side, they truly reflect the quality of the tea. This is an experience you shouldnโt miss, and we make it a point to visit every time...

We really loved this tea house, the service was impeccable, atmosphere was very serene, cozy and peaceful, with a very good selection of teas and sweets assortment to accompany them.
The area is famous for itsโ teahouses in Seoul, and this is a beautiful one, including a shop where you can also buy teas for home (although they ate quite pricey!).
Would definitely come here again for a relaxing afternoon. The cinnamon tea was perfectly prepared and even appeased to my boyfriend, who is...
